ADAMSUSA Trace Long Style Softball Knee Guard

I play softball and had a pair of these high knee (and shin) guards years ago. Couldn't find the large ones at my local sporting goods stores, so when I found them on amazon prime I was stoked! The pads run a bit smaller than expected, as many softball/baseball athletes tend to have larger legs, still I'm about 5'11", 175 and the large fit my legs well. Both blue and black regardless of size are the same colors as displayed online. The large pad goes from just above my knee/lower quad down to the top of the ankle, even along room for ankle guards and other body armor. There is also a cut out area around the knee for air and comfort. I wear one on each knee/shin along with other compression knee pads and they fit fine, even after running around the field for a couple hours. Softballs (which are really hard, incidentally) bounce right off the pads and leave no injuries, which if you've ever played competitive softball, is a must. I dig.

Saved my leg over and over this season. I have nerve damage from sliding into home plate with just shorts on years ago at a city park field (read: rocky, hard and not groomed). It tore all the first few layers of skin off for about 10 inches of my calf. Anyway, ever since then sliding has always been painful. Well, not anymore. This pad has made me enjoy "getting dirty" again to save the play. I don't feel my leg scraping anymore, and it also helps from bruises from those occasional "awkward" ugly slides. This is actually thicker than I expected, which is good for me, but might be a bit cumbersome to some players to wear comforatbly. I am 6"2 and this still covers my long legs from above my knee all the way down my calf. Just where I had the road rash and nerve damage. I have relatively baggy baseball pants and you can't really tell i have it on unless I am sitting down. Stays up/in place better than I expected.

A bit bulky. It worked to protect a sore knee so I really cant complain.

Ordered an em small and it doesn’t fit, luckily it was able to fit another player of mine. Will order bigger

These fit perfectly! I have thick thighs and legs so I got an XL because L was too tight. I use them to guard my knees and shins during caving and they feel great! I washed and dried them, they are still holding up after 4 caving trips. I will totally recommend. For a measurement reference: area right above knee has 16 in circumference. Length of guard ends about 4 in above the ankle and that circumference is about 11 in. When I'm caving, they slip down sometimes, but stay put more often than not.

I bought these to wear under my baseball pants to protect my knees and shins while playing softball. While these would probably give good protection (they are thick) they are also gigantic. I felt like I was wearing goalie equipment, certainly cant run comfortably in them. For reference I am a 5'10" 165lbs male. RETURNED!

Loved these, but ordered the wrong size. Great for softball, sliding and fielding to protect your shins!
