Very Effective
Use this as directed and all will work out fine. If you’re cleaning exotic skins that you’ve been using shoe crème or polish on be careful to wipe off the leather conditioner while still wet, don’t use a scrubbing motion in this step as it will only rub the dirt and old wax deeper into the leather. Wipe off the residue and wipe again with a fresh cloth surface, repeating until the skin is dry and clean. A little old wax residue will remain, not a problem, just get most of it off until the cloth wipes clean. When that process is done let dry for 15 mins or so, buff with a soft horse hair brush and spray on another coat. Let this soak in a min or so then wipe off. Let dry and buff. This conditioner leaves a higher shine than other products, a nice bonus. Most leather care products continue to dry, so give a buff the next day and shine will likely improve. I use this as my final step after conditioning with Saphir Reptan. Used this way just spray over the Reptan treated skin, lightly rub in until no longer wet. Let dry for 20 mins and buff. The shine is outstanding. Used alone or to finish a Reptan conditioning this is an excellent product that leaves a high shine.

works great!
I used this on my python skin western boots to condition the scales and it works quite well. Scales were much softer and laid down better after I let the boots sit for a day. Definitely worth the purchase for your exotic skins. It works on my Caiman, Python and Rattlesnake western boots quite well

I have never used Scout's Reptile & Exotic Leather Cleaner & Conditioner before. I bought this brand because it came highly recommended by other wearers of exotic boots. I found the result impressive. The spray left no dull film residue after wiping/buffing. After giving them a good wipe down, the boots had a pleasant sheen. I would purchase this cleaner again and explore other products offered by this brand.
