I have used these for years in my classroom and I absolutely love them. BUT just be aware regular thin expo markers do not fit in the marker holder in the handle. I love Kleenslate markers but they are more expensive and sometimes harder to come by. Adjusting the marker holder on the handle would make these even better. Still, if you don't mind housing markers a separate place or if you are ok with buying exclusively their brand of markers then don't hesitate to grab these slates!!!!

I won a KleenSlate whiteboard at a training I attended. I loved it so much I bought a class set. They are one of the most useful, versatile tools you can use in your classroom. The dry erase marker has a “spot” on the handle and the eraser rag is attached, so passing them out and collecting them is quick and easy. The boards are double-sided. One side has a very sturdy plastic sleeve allowing you to use multiple templates with the board. KleenSlate has templates available for free online. If they don’t have what you need, you can make suggestions and might get it added to their library. But, it is really easy to make your own. These slates are very well made, sturdy, and my students love them.

Within two weeks, I had my class using whiteboards for pretty much every subject. The greatest gift KleenSlate offers is engagement. I have never seen class participation like this before. Plus, the convenience of having a snap in eraser marker and a microfiber cloth ring really makes this a treat to pass out and pick up at the end of class. I am hooked! Another thing - They last!
