Good quality
Two years into having this shifter. Still feels the same as the day I bought it. Extremely good for the price

Way Better Than The OEM Shifter, But...
Installed in my ‘06 RSX Type S 6 speed. Could not get it into 5, 6, or reverse with the console cover in place. Mine came with no instructions, possibly because it was a returned item. Since this is basically a close copy of another company’s product, I looked that one up to see if there was an adjustment for H-pattern throw left to right. There are two set screws with locking nuts on the underside of the base that control the tightness of the brass bushings that the shifter ball rides in. Mine was way loose and the shifter moved significantly to the right before movement occurred in the linkage. Those can (should) be adjusted to snug then backed off slightly. Maybe 1/4 turn. If the shifter doesn’t easily return to center, then they are too tight. I adjusted them as described and they were no longer protruding enough for the lock nuts to thread on. The set screws are metric M6-1.00x17.5 (maybe spec’d to 18). I bought some M6-1.00x20 set screws from McMaster Carr and they worked perfectly and the lock nuts threaded on. No more slop and I could now get into 5 and 6, but still not reverse. So I notched the console cover and also rounded off the corner from the shifter (voids warranty?). It will now hit all of the gears. The shift boot and trim ring should be fine to install and work with this little modification. I have a new boot on order, so no pics of it in place yet.As for the shifter, it is way more precise than the worn out OEM shifter and very slick. Nice. I don’t know if my original shifter had a plastic bushing for the cable eye on the right side cable but I made one. The diameter of the hole in the cable eye is significantly larger than the diameter of the shoulder bolt that passes through it. It would be nice if the shifter came with one. Again, mine was a return, possibly, and maybe the kit normally comes with one, or the stock shifter bushing got lost along the way. Might explain why it was so sloppy.Sorry for the long rant. I hope this is helpful, because I had to figure this stuff out on my own.

So much play while in gear
The media could not be loaded. Not sure if it’s missing a part while construction but this is crazy

Meh, it’s alright.
The media could not be loaded. Low build quality, but also low cost so what can you ask for. As expected, disappointed.

Amazing shifter for the price I’m keeping it for good!
On my 04 rsx type s and was a pain to install with hand tools but I did it myself in the middle of night 3am and took me about 2 solid hours but overall that’s not the shifters fault it’s amazing and love it way more than stock and for the price you cannot beat it! Also 3rd shifts nicer! I’m still using the trans fluid synchromesh trick but it’s a lot better with this shifter I would get this over and over. I had to dremel out the center to get 6th and reverse to work but same as k tuned they say you need to delete but just dremel out the center before the clips and throw it back in and its perfect again would buy it over and over I love it and you can install at home! If you want to it’s so nice!!!!

Good
You get what you pay for, gears 1-4 feel very gated but 5-R are a bit hard to find, I’m sure it gets easier as i drive more. quality feels solid thoughIf you can’t afford a $500 shifter, id recommend this

TRASH
Won't go in reverse if planning on putting back shift boot. If planning on putting back shift but stick with the buddy club short shifter
