The Hungry Cutters scissors magnets are adorable and appear to be durable. I am sure that they will encourage my students to work on their cutting skills. 10 magnets for right-handed cutters are included in this set. As the market for this product is more likely occupational therapists and classroom teachers (few families would need 10 of these), I suggested to the OT who designed these that he include 2 magnets for left-handed children (who are about 10% of the population) in the set of 10. Sets for left-handers are available on the Hungry Cutters website.

As a pre-k teacher, it's difficult to get my little one to keep hold the scissors in the correct way. The fun magnets really does making cutting fun. What's even better is the company's website has cute pages to go along with the shapes. We used the road today.. kids had to keep the car on the road. I was really impress to see how hard they worked at keeping the car on the road, or really on the line to cut!16 out of my 18 kids are right-handed, so they really were able to use this set. I'm just hoping to see left-handed set on Amazon soon! or even 1/2 right 1/12 left set!

I love these little critter magnets. The packaging is so cute! And so do my kiddos that I work with! They are a great motivator when it comes to cutting! Kids love getting to choose which magnets they’d like. The quality is great as well! They are not cheaply made and the magnets stick well. I like that it’s user friendly and they can work with any scissor! Such a hit! This is the third product I own from hungry cutters and I will continue to buy more! Great product. I highly recommend it, especially for those kids who may not enjoy cutting- this definitely puts a spin on things.

Adorable and encourages children to learn how to use scissors. They were a lot smaller than I expected but I should have realized they would be because they’re designed to fit child size scissors. I took one star off because one of them came apart the first time a child used them. It glued back together fine.

This is a wonderful product for kids who have difficulty cutting and need some extra motivation! The designs are bright and colorful and the magnets are strong enough to hold in place while cutting strips of paper. More than worth the price for the selection in the box! This seller has other products that are just as interesting and creative, and customer service is second to none too. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves these magnets.. Together with left handed kid scissors, these are truly helpful for children with fine motor delays. Daughter cuts like a champ now and thanks to these things it’s improved other skills she’s working on. I owe you one Hungry Cutters! These are our second pair, not because they wear out or break or anything of the sort cause they seem well made and durable but because my little one loses them..If I could give you more than 5 stars I would!

I’m a pediatric occupational therapist and many of my kiddos have goals for visual perception and cutting skills, to facilitate functionality and independence in the classroom. For a lot of them, they really don’t like straight up cutting with scissors (because, to be honest, that can be boring). But with hungry cutters magnets, my kiddos actually ask to use scissors and do cutting activities in sessions! Thank you hungry cutters for making my job much easier!

My preschoolers love these cute magnets and I love that they make them for lefties and righties! This was a great find for this pediatric OT. Who wouldn't want to cut with an alligator, race car or rocketship on their scissors and they're designed to help keep a proper "thumbs up" position. I'm sharing them with all my parents and preschool teachers.
