PomStream Sphere Ice Mold Whiskey Rounders Ice Ball Maker 2.5in Odorless and - Set of 2

I received my Ice Sphere molds within a few days of placing my order and was excited to give them a try.They arrived in a sturdy box with easy to follow instructions printed on the side of the box.After washing the molds in soapy water and rinsing them well, I filled the clear half of the molds with water to the easy to see indicated fill line.The grey top that fits over the bottom has a hole in the middle to let out any excess water when you put the pieces together.I found it helpful before freezing, to place my finger over the hole and remove any water that had spilled into the grooves around the cylinder shape when I secured the two pieces together.Once filled. I placed them in my freezer and waited about 4 hours for the water to completely freeze.The design makes it easy to set them on a freezer shelf, or even in the door of the freezer.Once the ice sphere was frozen, I removed the mold from the freezer and ran it under warm water for just about a minute which made it easy to remove the clear plastic bottom of the mold.I then used the flaps on the grey portion of the mold to coax my ice sphere into my glass.With very little effort I had a perfectly round ice ball ready to be surrounded by my favorite beverage!I must say I am impressed with how long it took for the ball to melt. My drink was kept cold for several hours without being watered down, as happens with conventional ice cubesI plan to fill these with juices to add to the punch bowl at my next party and expect that having large colored ice balls in the bowl will be a real conversation starter with my guests.I highly suggest purchasing more than one set if you have more than 2 people in your household because everyone in the family is going to want one in their glass!Fast shipping and great customer service make it easy to give this product a very high recommendation.I received this product in exchange for my unbiased review.

These work well. You pour water in to the line and then place the top on. They are two separate units and make large ice balls. Each ball will basically fill a normal rocks glass. I use mine and pour bourbon over them. They also have a good base, so they stay level in the freezer.

This is pretty cool, but a more obvious fill line would be nice - I've not gotten a great ball of ice from it yet. A decent ball, but with a lot of flaws. I'm using filtered water, so I'm not sure what the deal it there.

I really like these ice molds. For the most part they are easy to use, with a little practice. If you are a scotch or whiskey drinker these are great. Everyone who sees them when loves them as well.

Very simple to use, perfect ice spheres every time, self contained, "no spill" flat design makes each sphere a success. Very happy with this product!

Awesome, the ice sphere adds sophistication to my glass of whiskey. The ice sphere also last a long time.
