I have been ordering these walnuts now for some time as I am trying to increase my intake of Omega-3. I always buy the larger size, which sells out frequently. The larger bag has been unavailable several times. That should tell one something about the product! On two occasions that the larger bags were unavailable ( much more economical to buy the larger) I ordered different brands. I will not mention the names, but one was FULL of shells and other debris. The other LOOKED VERY NICE, but they tasted old and stale. I have learned my lesson. If unavailable, I will wait until they are! These are the BEST raw walnuts I have ever eaten! Fresh, no shells or debris, and it is a pleasure to grab a handful to munch! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND those brand. The best I have found! I hope they never go out of business. The others I ordered were $4-$5 less in price, but that is pointless if one cannot enjoy eating them. I am happy to pay $5 more - every penny is worth it! Nice to see a truly QUALITY product on Amazon, as many products from there are of inferior quality and a waste of money. **************************** ***UPDATE*** I have been ordering these walnuts now for months & they have ALWAYS been fresh & delicious - EXCEPT FOR THIS LAST BATCH! Stale, old tasting, inedible and BROKEN BADLY - as if one literally scraped the bottom of the barrel! DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED, but they did not go to complete waste - I gave them to the squirrels and birds. ******If I receive another batch like this, you will lose a customer!***** I have told several people how delicious these walnuts are - may have spoken too soon!

These walnuts are so fresh. I use them in breads, salads, and snack mixes. They have a good flavor and are good to just eat as a snack. The only thing is they don’t last long enough!

This is about the 10th time I have reordered these walnuts from Amazon and they are consistently fresh, taste GREAT, and are the best value for the money. I LOVE walnuts and put them in my yogurt, cereal, tuna salad, and even eat them raw on a regular basis. My wife always makes a special batch of cookies or brownies just for me with walnuts and the taste is just tremendous!! I highly recommend this product!!

Excellent quality and freshness, but many were crushed to fine powder. Not sure if they're worth the higher price.

I have ordered these multiple times. They are now on my subscribe and save. These walnuts are fresh and mostly halves, very few small pieces. I keep the bag in the freezer and take out a bowl full at a time to snack on. A very good price for the quality and quantity.
