My fiancé's father would make the decorative eggs with a similar kit every year as a family tradition based in Lithuania. We wanted to share the experience and craft with my family this year and after doing a bit of research went with this kit. It arrived quickly and performed perfectly (the eggs didn't look nearly as good as the drawing included but I'll write that up as inexperience and impatience on our part, by no means a fault of the equipment). The kit was easy to clean, maintain, and store and we will probably order more next year for our large group.

Very nice updated kistkas (compared to my old wooden handled ones). The three kistkas come in three different sizes, marked by red, white and blue on the end, but no where is there a notation of which color is which size.

Not What I Expected
This product was not exactly a kit. It is just three tools, a four page pamphlet and a block of wax. By having the title of "kit", I expected it to have at least a couple of dyes so that I could begin to decorate eggs. The instructions assumed that you know how to put the wax into the tool, but I did not. I ended up having to search to local library for books to find the instructions in order to use the tools.This is not a decorating kit for a beginner.

A great little kit for old school egg decorating. It's pretty amazing what one can do with just a little bit of wax and the three kistkas! I can't wait to use them again next year.

The kistkas were much better than others one I purchased. But the cleaning wire broke immediately. Still worth purchasing this package.

Great Toolkit!
Word to the wise, this kit includes a pattern sheet, wax, and the kistkas in 3 sizes - you will need to get dyes somewhere else. I already had dyes and was looking for a kit with varying size kistka - this fit the bill perfectly. When heated, the kistka write smoothly and stay hot enough much longer than the traditional wood and copper style ones. Great kit if all you need are the tools!

Ukrainian Egg Kit
The bees wax was supposed to be black. The yellow wax was only a half round and hard to see on the egg for coverage. The rest of the kit was ok.

More Than Met My Expectations, Thanks
It's been a very long time since I have attempted to recreate these lovely psyanky eggs but having the best product available has been really helpful. I really need some actual teacher guidance in perfecting the decorations but the supplies have been and are top drawer. Thanks for providing them Amazon.
