Works as expected
Purchased this for my son, whose original machine had packed up on him. It works fine - prompt delivery well packaged.

What a let down
We were told this was a Multi Region DVD Recorder not only did it not play other region DVD's, but it does not even tune in properly so you can record TV programmes. I would not buy this at all if I were you.

Not what I Expected !!!!
Would not recommend this item.Overlly complicated no hmdi input which from the description lead u to believe three was.Very disappointed in sony. !!

Reliable, good quality - it's a Sony
I've only ever used mine in the UK (I bought it 10 years ago or more) - but it never fails, and it's built like a tank. My only complaint? The only controls on the front are eject, stop, play and record - so don't lose the remote control because it's useless without it.
