should I picK cotton or polyester?

I would recommend polyester. I just had a baby in July and was worried the fleece would be too hot, so I ordered a cotton one. Even with him being a newborn, he got out of the cotton one much easier than the fleece. I think the cotton stretches more. I just had him in a diaper and nothing else and he didn't seem to be too hot.

If it is labeled "micro fleece," is polyester, as stated in the item description. It stays soft, wash after wash. Halo does make cotton versions...nice for summer/warmer weather....just look for the links on Amazon if you want cotton version. My grandchildren have all benefitted from the SleepSacks, and have grown into the ones with leg openings which are great for after they are standing in the crib...eliminates SIDS risk from a blanket, but still keeps them warm. We slip them on right over their PJ's at bedtime or clothes at naptime. Great--especially in the winter.
