Good product - Works well
I was expecting this to feel more like a glue, but it doesn't. This allows you to spread it with your fingers to fill in cracks in your upholstery. It just makes a skin on your fingers when it dries. It seems to adhere to the existing vinyl very well and it holds the pieces together nicely.

Fixed my office chair
I got an office chair from the thrift store which was great except for a couple of small cracks in the front of the seat. In the summer heat, when I was wearing shorts, those cracks scratched the back of my thighs (very distracting). Using a rubber glove, I smeared a thick coating of the Permatex vinyl sealant on the front of the chair and let it dry overnight. The next night I did it again just to be on the safe side. It worked great! The front of the chair is now smooth and does not irritate me at all. I'm toying with the idea of putting on another coat (overkill). I would definitely buy this again.

Good repair adhesive
Works well, strong, and stays flexible, but not completely clear.

Worked great. Used it to patch a hole from a hook on a boat cushion

This is tuff stuff.
Small tear and burn hole in ATV seat. I knew if I just kept riding my ATV my seat would keep ripping, so I got this. And let me tell you I don't worry about it anymore. This stuff drys quick and is as tough as the vinyl the seat is made from.Great stuff to keep little tears from turning in a big tears and a ruined seat. I was surprised at how well it worked. I highly recommend this product for smaller repairs .

Yes, it's expensive but it may be unrivaled for repairing vinyl rips and cuts
I was disturbed by the price but after the first use to repair an armrest on a vinyl covered recliner, I was impressed. There were several tears where I'd applied pressure with my hand to stand and the vinly tore in rough, jagged sections. I bought the Permatex vinyl repair and applied it, not thinking much of the possibilities and what was a mess of torn vinyl has normalized and almost looks like it never happened. That good. SO? I like it but still think it's pricey.

Something wrong with this tube
We've used Permatex Vinyl Repair for years on numerous products from boat upholstery to household items. Our latest tube has a totally different consistency and is almost impossible to use. Every tube we've purchased has a thick, gel-like appearance. This last tube is as thin as water. Impossible to apply because it runs everywhere. I can't work on boat upholstery by applying one drop at a time, I need to apply the permatex to an area about 10 inches long in order to secure the vinyl before pinning it. Not possible with this tube. I've tried at least 5 times to use this and end up with a mess every time. It's going in the trash.

Repairs torn vinyl table cloth
This product helped me repair a vinyl table cloth. The repair is nearly seemless except for the shine. My biggest concern with this product is covering it after use and the lack of adequate instructions. E.g. There's a dispensing cone to aid in applying the seslant but whst is one to do after...remove the cone and wash out the remaining sealant?Hint: the cone is sealed at one end so you will have to make hole. I used a pair of sharp scissors to nip of the end to a size i needed.
