Amazon Brand – Stone & Beam Organic Cotton Towel Set, Set of 3, White

All of my current towels seems to have lost their fluff, so time for some new towels. I purchased these a couple of weeks ago and washed and used them right away. They shed in the washing machine and dryer, as one would expect with new towels. They are quite soft and fluffy. The yarns are close together, which makes these seem high-end. Sometimes new towels aren't very absorbent, but these are pretty good. I think they will get better the more they are washed. The bath towels are not super large, but they are a nice size for a bath towel. I really like that they are organic. I like the that ends have a slight pattern instead of just being plain. I ordered the blue color and it's really pretty, sort of a cadet blue. I'm not one to give 5 stars unless a product exceeds all expectations, but I'm trying to think of anything I'd change about these towels and I can't think of how they could be better, so they win the stars.

I wanted to replace some very worn, unmatched towels and upgrade to organic cotton. I ordered 3 different organic options (Pinzon, Rivet & this) in the washcloth size to compare softness, absorbency and wash-ability. While I actually really liked all 3 options, the Stone & Beam set was a clear winner, and I ordered the hand & body towels to match. They are uber plush and fluffy, and feel like you're at a posh spa.I also hate how traditional towels have the 'stripe' of almost embossed fabric a few inches from the end, their 'stripe' is right at the edge of the towel which means I don't hit a rougher spot when toweling off or scrubbing my face it's just all soft.If I remember correctly, these had ~600 GSM weight, which was the perfect balance among the options I tested (Pinzon Organic 700gsm, Rivet organic 450gsm, Pinzon non-organic 820gsm). They felt super soft but still dried fairly fast and washed well. The Pinzon options definitely took a lot longer to dry, and both washcloths and full sized versions were quite heavy when wet.

I was very pleased with how much absorbency these towels had as well as how soft they are. I love everything about them except for 2 reasons, which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars:1. They are a very dull color. So dull that they perfectly match the color of dull towels I was replacing with these2. Be very careful with what you wash them with. They spread their lint everywhere when they are washed. I'm sure heat drying will remove all the extra lint, but for those of you who hang dry their clothing and linens be prepared to be covered in lint when you dry off.

I've been using this towels for a week now ... washed once before use ... my other towels are amazon branded pinzon (or something like it) so I can only compare to those ... by comparison these towels are softer and fluffier ... however after only a week of use some strands are already coming loose ... I was very disappointed with the quality of pinzon and I swore I'd never purchase another amazon brand again but they keep coming up with new names and I keep getting fooled. Although ok after a week of use I really have no high hopes for durability ... it used to be that you buy clothing, towels, shoes, electronics etc you expected them to last at least several years ... now after a year or two they seem to simply disintegrate.

I purchased less than 2 weeks ago & have washed twice; they've held up nicely.AS I mentioned, it was LESS than 2 weeks ago, , that I purchased these, I went back to place another order of the Rose color, and the price is nearly DOUBLE what it was. Price gouging much?-No longer interested, thank you.

I tried this two pack of bath towels first to see if I wanted to order more. They are a very high-quality and soft to the touch, and as others have stated, after one washing they became more absorbent and stayed very soft. These are now my favorite towels and I have ordered 2 full sets to have the matching hand towels and wash cloths.Edit: I downgraded these to 4 stars as they do snag extremely easy. Still the softest towels I have ever owned but I do my laundry in commercial washing and drying machines and I fear the sharp edges inside them as they snag worse every time I do the laundry. I feel that if you did your laundry in home machines or if you hung them on a clothesline to dry you would probably have far less trouble. Be very careful hanging them on hooks and how you handle them.

Good quality towels for the price. These are a mid weight 600GSM material. I don't know why Amazon does not include the GSM in the product details, but they should. The towels are extremely soft and fluff up nicely after the first wash. I washed and dried them 3 times before first use, as I do with all new towels. They gave off a relatively low level of lint in the dryer. These are not very thick or plush, but are very nice medium weight towels. They could be slightly more absorbent, but may improve with additional wash cycles. Overall I'm very pleased with the towels. If you like thicker towels, try Amazon's Stone and Beam Egyptian cotton towels. They are slightly more expensive, but incredibly thick and plush.

I have purchased washcloths and hand towels off of Amazon before and been really disappointed in the quality and longevity. Not this time. Been using these for the past 5 months and the threads are not coming undone, they are not picking up the oil from sheets in the wash like terry cloth often does (I do massage for a living), and the color (Regatta) is really beautiful and complementary to my assortment of towel colors. I know it hasn't been over a year yet, but these get used and washed almost weekly. Very happy with this product.

Don't get me wrong, these are OK towels, I love the color, but for some reason I thought these were heavier / thicker.They are actually 600GSM, which is very standard, not heavy weight at all.They do shrink and lose their shape quickly in the dryer, so they look like plain old towels right out of the box.I was expecting something a little thicker, but the GSM was not written in the description so I cannot really blame amazon, it's my bad. I'll keep them but wouldn't buy that thickness again. I'd aim for 750-800 GSM next time for something thicker with a hotel feel to it.

These towels are so soft and luxurious. They are made of organic cotton which means no yucky pesticides or genetically modified organisms were used to grow the cotton, therefore they are safer for your family and for the planet. Very affordable too! Great quality - I highly recommend them for someone looking for soft and eco-friendly towels!

I like the neutral colour of these towels, and that they’re organic.They are soft, and absorbent.I disliked that they initially shed lint.. but after about 3 washes they are much better.I would but then again.

The rags are nice quality and thick. Only problem is that they do come with a slight odour. I washed them and it went away. I assume its a factory smell from where they're made.

Use as daily hand towels . Very soft and wash well
