Belkin Shield Sheer Case for Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation (Orange)

I buy this product all the time. I drop my iPod a lot and this always saves it. The corners do crack after a few drops and eventually break off but that is to be expected. I like that this product protects the iPod while keeping the shape and color viewable. The sheer amount of times I've ordered this product should speak volumes as to how much I like it!

I've tried about 2 dozen cases, broken a few, been disappointed with others. I keep coming back to this one. It's the best one out there. Just a little bit of grip, not enough to get hung up in my pocket, but enough to keep it from slipping out of my hands or getting lost in the bed. It's clear, so it does not cover the color choice I made when I bought my expensive device. The case yellows with time, but so do a lot of the plastic products I'm surrounded by - printers, calculators, etc. Some of the cases that come from China don't fit very well. They are usually too small; you need a shoehorn to get the device in there. Stick with a name you know & can trust.

Case worked fine. Then one day I either dropped my ipod or I was taking it out of the case and the corner cracked. I did not notice it until a friend of mine was changing a song on my ipod and he told me I broke my case already after 1 week. It still works greag though. Im going to use it as much as I can until I need a new one.

Love this case. The case itself does get scratches, but I like that, because you see how much it protects the iPod. I honestly feel safe dropping my iPod from a normal shoulder to floor distance. It also leaves a lot of room for the loop without risking protection which is something I really appreciate. I love that I can show the engraving and color of my iPod too.

Its an ok case. It dosent protect the screen part of the ipod at all! If your not worried about breaking your screen, then go for it... But just remember, your screen can still break even if u have a screen protector on it... Its happened to me b4! Hope this was helpful! ;-)

This is a piece of crystal clear shiny plastic, very thin, slippery smooth, and snaps on. i seriously doubt this product would offer even the slightest shock protection. would expect something like this to cost no more than $7 full price. could pick up something identical at ross or tjmaxx for $4. will keep this for now, but wish i had time to return it. i usually really like belkin products, they always fit well, with perfectly lined up openings. really hope they come up with something similar to the belkin essentials for iphone, that product is clear and soft, with great grip even though the product shiny & smooth. if this had cost under $10, i probably would have given it 2 to 3 stars.I bought this because the description said it is FLEXIBLE, which is why I bought it. It is not flexible, it is a hard snap on case, maybe it is less stiff than most, but it is certainly not flexible. If you are looking for a minimal crystal clear, shows every scratch, super thin hard snap on case go for it. But if you want something flexible, this is not it.Update: I decided to return this product after seeing Belkin Silicone/Gummy Protectors 2 for $20, not as nice as the Essentials for iphone, but at least is flexible and you get 2 for the same price. Amazon gave me an instant full credit and scheduled next day pick up by UPS. Amazon has the best returns process, so easy.

Since I had good luck with a hard case for my old iPod, I purchased this case for my iPod touch. After about 2 months I found the case had cracked in one corner and was no longer functional. As a person who is very careful with my electronics, I was quite disappointed with the case. My iPod spends most of its time in a sleeve in my purse, and was never dropped. I would not recommend this case to others.

Perfect case, protects, does not change color of phone, can't even tell a case is on. Doesn't add to size either. Highly recommend
