I used these as sand bags to weigh down my grand-daughters trampoline. Great, but use wet sand as dry sand runs out of the holes.

Hessian bags used to cover plants/trees roots & keep them warm. I thought the price was a bit expensive. Having worked in textile manufacturing all my life, I estimate there is approximately 5 metres of fabric in those 6 bags, hessian fabric is the lowest form of life in the textile industry, so to achieve £5 per metre you are doing excellently well. I was a bit disappointed with these sacks that I bought for storing potatoes. I think the weave is a bit loose and allows too much light in so stored spuds go green in these sacks much quicker than in Paper or more dense sacks.Fine for onions, carrots but not potatoes.

I bought for lining a container for straberrues

We liked the hessian and used it for covering over some old plastic large garden pots. We had to cut and stitch them but not a problem and works a treat. Shabby chic for our garden but don’t give the game away. 😜🪴🤣
