Lovely book it was a gift and my friends was extremely pleased with it, the pictures are beautiful.

I bought this as a present, but am now wondering if I should have kept it. Crisp, well defined images. Informative text (certainly more than a coffee table book). Made me long to experience Islamic culture face to face.

Lovely photography and many locations.I love the way this book is ordered so well. So you follow through the dynasties and the eras.Also I enjoy that the fine arts are interspersed with the Archirecture.Very happy with this book and also the price.
