Washing Machine Base Multi-functional Heavy Duty 4 Strong Feet Adjustable Base for Refrigerator and Dryer

My laundry is set up in the basement of an older house that a few times a year has water backup in the basement due to tree roots (expensive fix that is not happening any time soon)It had literally ruined the bottom of my previous washing machine from it rusting and becoming unsteady.So when purchased a new top loading washer before installing it purchased this and it works exactly as expected.It does obviously add height so since I am short I had to purchase a stool to be able to reach the bottom of the washer but that is ok! Preventing my washer to potentially end up in water!

Quick summary:Great alternative to a pedestal with a drawer if you don't need to storage space, easy to assemble and does NOT seem to be any louder than being on our tile.Long version: My wife and I both have joint problems and having the extra height for our front load dryer is helpful, we couldn't take the chance of buying a used pedestal as some are VERY brand and/or model specific and having spent so much on the new washer and dryer we definitely weren't going to buy pedestals. It's really straight forward anyone with average experience assembling furniture or tinkering with household items will be able to put it together without tools or even an instruction manual. I didn't even measure it, just eye-balled it and made sure it was level (small bubble levels are on all four sides

I wanted my dryer off the ground to clean under it easily. I ordered the stand. It looks great but one of the latches does not latch properly and metal is a bit flimsy. One side I actually propped up with a brick because I did not trust that side. Great idea and seems to me working fine.

I would have given this five Stars but there was no instructions and every single screw had to be hand tightened. Works as advertised and raised the washer and dryer 5 in.

We bought a new front load wash & dryer set (Samsung) but I just could not reason with spending so much on the bases that "match". My wonderful hubby said he would build a platform for me. However, he had neither time or room, as our laundry room is not much bigger than a closet, as it is technically our mechanical room. After almost a year of our set sitting on the ground, I found these and ordered them. We got the big drum wash & dryer (Family of 8) and while at first a little nervous, they have been a HUGE advantage! I didn't think they would fit (and I think the hubby thought so too), but once he out the dryer on one, it fit perfectly. Love these!

Cheapest flimsy metal with cheapest of the cheap plastic. If your washing machine had any weight to it, it will not support it very well. It bent the metal supports on the ones I bought. Wished I had caught it before my return window closed.

I tossed around ideas to increase the height of my apt size fridge. When I searched every idea was BUILD a platform from wood. UGH! So, I went to Amazon and saw this product. Wow, problem solved, just like that. I wanted the one with wheels but I clicked on w/o wheels by mistake. So, what! It works. I don't have to bend down to the floor for the veggie bin now!!!!!!!! ;-)

I liked the easy assembly and high clearance from floor for easy dust mopping. Also the clearance is great for installing a water leak detector, just in case you ever need it (our old washing machine works fine except for a once a year water over flow.
