Very Pleased so far
I have been using this on my Galaxy Note 8 for about a week now and for those of you with a note 8 you know what a battery hog it can be. I am now able to go a full day (16+ hours) without having to find an outlet to plug my phone in. I tested this on one of my work travel days, taking my phone off the charger at 5am. I used my phone for several meetings (WebEx with video), about 3 hours of GPS and Audio in my car (Android Auto) plus misc internet use (and some games) throughout the day. I turned the battery on a couple of times to recharge my phone throughout the day and was surprised when it was able to charge my phone from 50% in about 30 minutes (same as if I had plugged it into the wall charger) and ended my day at 10:30p with 80% battery left on my phone (battery case was dead by this time). It does add some bulk to my phone and is a little heavier than expected but I am still able to keep my phone in my pocket. It was easy to put my phone in the case and looks nice. The case is not slippery but is fairly smooth making it easy to get in and out of my pocket and hold on to when in use. It also works on my wireless chargers! it will charge both the phone and the battery at the same time which is also nice. The only thing I have not tried yet is direct data transfer by plugging it directly into my computer but thanks to One Drive I rarely have to do that any more anyway.

Customer service is great.
The company itself and its representatives are great. I had an issue with the case after about 5 months of owning it - it started to swell up on the back and cracked the case itself. I've contacted Newdery and after seeing pictures they have sent me out a new case without any issues. Case itself does work pretty good when it's in good working condition. A bit big and bulky but that comes with all battery cases. No issues charging wirelessly and I am using a third party charger. Good product overall.

Love everything about it, except...
Overall the case is very nice; it fits my Note 8 perfectly, buttons all work perfectly, and the cutouts for everything are perfect, including the S-pen.It does charge the phone without any problems and I also like that it does not add any extra bulk at the bottom of the phone like my old charging case did on my Note 4.I do not care about fast charging or any of that, so not a big deal for me that the case doesn't support it, as I put my phone on charger when I go to bed and it is always fully charged by next morning. The charging pad I've always used with my phone doesn't support it either and has never been an issue for me.The one major problem I am having, which is a non-starter for me is that when I put the phone on my wireless charging pad (with case on), both phone and case charge fine, BUT once the phone reaches 100%, the case disengages itself from the phone and does not maintain the phone's charge, so it gradually discharges, even though it's still sitting on the charger. I have replicated this multiple times and it does this 100% of the time. So, depending upon how long you leave you phone on the charger, it could be at any degree of discharge when you go to use it, which defeats the entire purpose. Picking phone up from charging pad and putting back on will repeat the cycle. One additional issue that I don't like is that if I turn the case on initially to more or less 'trickle charge' the phone from the start (i.e. let the phone run off the case battery first, and then use the phone's battery second) the case will turn itself off after shortly after phone reaches 100%, so you cannot use it in this manor. My old Note 4 charging case would allow this. Since the Note 8 internal battery is not user-replaceable, I wanted to operate it this way to prolong it's life as I could easily get a new case, but not so easily a new internal battery.I have written to the company that makes this concerning these issues and will await their response. However, unless this is an anomaly I will likely be returning this and looking elsewhere.UPDATE 2/26/2019I've been using the case for a couple days, and all things considered, I decided to increase my original rating from 1 to 3 stars.Wireless charging does not work properly. The company has offered to send another case, however, I do not think that will help, as it appears that the phone's own wireless charging receiver is actually detecting the charging pad through the battery case, but not enough to make a proper connection, thus the error about 'incomplete connection'. It then begins charging from the case's USB-C connection, but I think once the phone completes charging it again tries to 'connect' to the wireless charging pad, which causes another error and at that point the charging pad stops providing charge (LED on charging pad indicates an error or bad connection as well.) There is no way that I've found to disable wireless charging on the phone itself, so I have no idea how they could resolve this problem. The case does seem to support fast charging when charging the case and phone from the Samsung fast charger (phone indicates 'Fast Charger Connected' and LED on case flashes faster than when using a standard charger. Case does not fast charge the phone from the battery though. None of this is important to me, as I ultimately have disabled fast cable charging on my phone as they say fast charging significantly reduces the useful life of the battery (1 year vs. 2-3 years.) Since the Note 8 battery is not user-replaceable, I want to get as much life from it as possible. I put my phone on charger at night and it's done by morning, so fast charge really isn't that important to me.Other than that, this case works fine, however, I will probably return it and opt for the same type of case without wireless charging, as they are a bit thinner and lighter than this one due to the absence of the wireless charging component (0.59" vs. 0.7").UPDATE 3/7/2019I am revising my overall rating from 3 to 4 stars because the company has been so amazing regarding my whole purchase and use experience. The case has worked flawlessly, except for the wireless charging not working. I was going to return it and get the version without wireless charging, which is $10 less, but rather than doing that they offered to issue a refund, which they did immediately.I am happy with everything and not being able to wireless charge is not a big deal for me, but please do consider this shortfall if it does matter to you.The company is awesome and they really care about their customers' satisfaction.

The Consumer Service Did Perfect Work!
I am very happy and grateful for their consumer service, especially to Ms. Joan who attended to me not only kind but also did what I asked very responsibly and punctually.I bought the phone charger case from Amazon for my Samsung galaxy note 8 in September last year, in 2020. I have been enjoying using their charging case pretty okay, but suddenly from last week, my phone started struggling to charge...about under 3~5% for long hours or even overnight charged. I was frustrated and worried. Later I realized my phone was(is) okay with its battery, but I learned that unfortunately, the phone case has stopped working. Checking the date when I bought it, it hasn't had one year yet... I also saw on their webpage that its warranty for the product covers 12 months (see attached picture). I contacted the consumer service thru email explaining my problem with the case. The next day I found Ms. Joan's email responding to me saying that she already placed an order for a replacement and I will get it within 5 days and it really happened. Now I got the same but "new phone case" thanks to her and her company, Newdery. I love this phone case! Good to go for more years, hopefully. They really kept their promise. 12-month warranty! It's real! Thanks, Joan! & Thanks, Newdery!

No customer support
This case worked well for charging my phone for about 3 months, then the charging cable end wouldn't stay in to charge, I had to hold the cable in to charge. Yesterday it just stopped charging altogether. I have to take the case off to charge my phone, which kind of defeats the purpose of having the case to begin with. I have also gone through 4 protective face plates with this case, there doesn't seem to be much protection. I contacted customer service about a week ago and received a request for a photo of the charging port, which I sent, but as of today I have not heard anything back.
