Typhoon Helmets Adult Full Face Snowmobile Helmet With Heated Shield DOT (Grey, Large)

I really had no idea what I was doing when looking at helmets. My boyfriend guided me on things that I needed while riding a snowmobile and I used those suggestions in my search. This particular helmet was $124.95 before shipping which was another 15.00. It comes with two shields, one that is heated and one that isn't. I can use it for the snowmobile and for the Harley. It also came with breathing guard and a great bag to keep it in. Really awesome and fits great. I think I got a fabulous value.

The electric shield worked but the breath mask is hard to seal. Finally got it by putting it high on my face, right under my eyes. Then the shield stayed pretty clear for the ride. Breath mask not easy to set up initially either but once I found the spot it was ok. They look great but u have to play with them to keep the shield clear. No trouble swapping out the shields.

Great value. The heat shield seems effective but only used in 20 temps.The breath box is tricky and around 70% effective. Installation is unclear and instructions were useless had to look online.The chinstrap release is easy to use and a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Love this helmet .. use it to snowmobile every year. Heater works great. Definitely worth the money. Plus its orange my favorite color

This helmet was awful. We returned it as soon as it was out of the box. The shield didn’t close all the way, it was cheaply made. I mean what did we expect I guess.

Love the helmet , comfortable fit and very well built. My husband loves the matte black color.

Buyer beware! We bought 2 helmets and the fuse for the heated shield in both helmets continues to blow. Typhoon tech support blamed it on the snowmobile/batteries. Not a chance, one sled is brand new and the battery in the other one is brand new! No follow up, no heated shield, no customer satisfaction!
