Tefal Expertise 32cm Frypan with Compatible Glass Lid Bundle

This Tefal frying pan was purchased to replace an older, smaller model which was showing signs of wear and tear. The 32 cms is pleasingly large and has the capacity to fry six eggs and more, easily, without doubling the thickness of the whites. The pan is solid and heavy and without a doubt will last a few years before replacement.The pan heated rapidly on our induction hob (I did add some baking marg) and the centre red dot usefully indicated when the requisite temperature was reached. The eggs fried exceedingly quickly and to perfection: lovely and crispy bottoms and runny yolks: just how I like them. The eggs did not stick and slid out effortlessly onto the serving plates.Just one note of caution, we did have to tighten the handle prior to use as it was slightly loose. You are also advised to hand wash the pan to preserve the integrity of the non stick interior. Nevertheless, easy to use, wash and store: a delight to use.

So far a great choice. The frying pan is a great size with nice steep sides meaning you get to more cooking area for your 30cm. My previous one had less vertical sides meaning less area at the bottom as it was measured across the rim.The nonstick has a slight rough feel to it. The suggestion to season first is a good one (warm the pan up and rub oil into it). My biggest mistake with these types of pans is to heat them hard! I do a lot of flat breads, pancakes etc a hot pan gives much better results. The problem is the sides and corners tend to attract a burnt on oil. Not a problem with the pans, but more with the user. So this time I'll be taking it at a lower heat, avoiding the dishwasher, and hopefully enjoying many years to come.So far the pan has performed excellently. I've done fried eggs, scotch pancakes, and a sirloin (not all the same meal!). Clean up has been great.The pan is solid and weighs a little more than the 28cm one it replaces, but I like the sturdinessAttached pic is the pan on my stove with a 20cm pan next to it.

After replacing my halogen hob with a ceramic one I found my favourite frying pan no longer worked. My old one was a Tefal so I had no concerns about buying another Tefal, in fact i was happy to pay a bit more for the quality.It is good quality, quite heavy, high sided - perfect for my needs.It heats up quickly, has an excellent non stick surface - I used little if no fat at all to cook with.Overall a brilliant buy.It has only been washed in the dishwasher so far and is showing no signs of excessive wear or damage.This pan should last me years, just like my old one did!

Can't go wrong with this pan, just wish I got a lid with it. The non stick is really good better than other Tefal products I've used and the pan is nice and big and sturdy. The only slight issue is there is a slight wabble in the handle but that's no big issue and I can live with it

Massive frying surface, almost too big for hob!Takes a while to heat up but works really well when cooking and cleaning.Durability is not as great with numerous chips appearing around the rim and the handle is now feeling a little loose. A bit disappointing considering the price.

This is the second one of these pans we have bought. The first lasted 3 years, making it the longest lasting pan we have owned. It gets used 3-4 times a week so sees a lot of use. It is easy to clean and great to cook with. Hopefully this one will last as long as the last.

I've had a wide variety of pans in my time, various price points, both non stick and standard. This has got to be the worst. The non stick never worked well and has now ceased to work at all. Utterly ludicrous given the price point and the big claims made by Tefal.The coating started peeling off from the rim after the first couple of washes, but, that bit didn't affect the cooking area so I never bothered to challenge it. Now I realise it was an early indication of the overall sub par quality.I've had Tefal frying pans in the past, and had no issues with them. I went for a more expensive grade one hoping it would last a long time. In fact it's lasted less time and has proven to be a waste of money.I can't even claim on the warranty because it's outside of the two year guarantee. I honestly can't believe they expect you to need to replace a poor performing pan with a new one after two years. At £40 a pop too.

Extremely strong and durable pan, great long lasting non stick and really easy to clean. Heavy, but that shows quality in my opinion.

Best non-stick pan this is the second I’ve own the first one I bought It in New Zealand it how I discover this frying pan . First one we bought it 3 years ago as of today we still have n use it still non stick working like when we first bought it .. best non stick pan I’ve ever own
