Functional
Functional and affordable tail cap and pressure switch. Don't expect it to be the same quality as tail cap and switch that costs over $100. It fits the Surfire G2X light. On the one I received, there was no issue with the wire or insulation as another buyer experienced and reported. The pressure switch works fine. It just barely fits in the Magpul M-LOK tape switch mounting plate intended for Surefire ST pressure switch. That said, this pressure switch is a bit thin so you need to press your thumb slightly into that mounting plate to activate the switch. I'm going to try to find something I can place between the switch and hand guard to raise the switch a bit in the Magpul mount. I have not used it extensively since installing so I'm unable to review how long it will hold up. If it fails, I'll update the review with info.

Rubber coating is junk
I’m giving this two stars instead of only one because it still works fine. The problem is that the rubber wire cover is completely disintegrating immediately after removing it from the box and installing it. Any bending of the wire is causing it to completely fall apart like the rubber has dry rot (How old is this wire?), which is completely unacceptable and a waste of my money. I wrapped one of the areas that you can’t see with electric tape already. The area that connects to the back of the flashlight on the right side of the picture has fallen completely apart, and the area on the left side of the picture is starting to fall apart also. It’s a complete piece of junk other than the fact that it works fine when I press the pressure switch. Electric wires aren’t suppose to fall apart when they are bent a little. Additionally, the other 5 star review on here talks about the durability and that it is better quality than the cheaper Chinese version that they previously bought. That’s weird because this one was produced by the G&P Industrial Company in Hong Kong, China. I found this by visiting the website that is stamped directly on the back of the product.

Pressure switch does not work.
Pressure Switch would not work. Fit the surefire G2 perfectly, but the pressure switch does not work and the light will not come on. Had to pay to ship the defective part back ($5.xx) and they did not refund the original shipping. Beware of this trap. Wasted almost 10 dollars.

Works great with Surefire G2 gen 1 polymer flashlight.
Initial impressions after installation my gen 1 polymer Surefire G2 are great. This is way better than the cheaper Chinese version I bought a few weeks ago that pulled apart within minutes of installation. This one has noticeable solid construction, durable cord, and it fit right on without issue. worth the money.
