This blanket is heavy. I don’t toss and turn all night anymore but It takes a few nights to get accustomed to it. well worth the money. Be aware if you fart under this it will not escape 12 hours later and that bad boy is going to sneak up on you. The wife farted under it and when I woke up the next morning it was a swift kick in the nads totally unexpected when I lifted the covers.

This product was well packaged and initially looked to be well made. The first few nights were amazing and everything I expected from the price point. The weight was evenly distributed and provided mass over my whole body. Fast forward 10 days and the weighted beads have now all migrated to the edges of the blanket and there is little to no weight in the center and the sides are now so heavy that it tries to fall off the bed. So now I have a super expensive blanket that does not provide weight, warmth or comfort and that is constantly is falling off the bed. I am not sure how at this price point they could not figure out how to contain the weighted beads in there original quilted area but this blanket is a complete disappointment.

This comforter has its pros and cons:Pros:-the biggest reason I bought this comforter was because it fits over my king size bed like a standard comforter. All the other brands only offer sizes that would end at the edge of our bed and that just wouldn’t be comfortable for us.-it has a nice weight for us (see con as well)-the weight is in small squares across the comforter so it remains pretty much evenly distributed across. The squares are made up of a polyester fiber and glass beads. Occasionally the fiber will bunch up and I rather enjoy spreading it back out with my fingers - odd I know but relaxing.-it’s not hot! We live in NC and we had a week of 100 degree heat in late May and I still loved sleeping with this blanket. We keep our upstairs at 72 degrees at night and we have a ceiling fan for reference.Cons:-the weight is great for my husband and I because of our weight but for smaller ppl with a king size bed it would be nice to have lighter weight options-they say it’s machine washable but I think it would destroy my washer. Imagine a 25lb blanket drenched it water trying to spin. Maybe a laundry mat or the dry cleaners-I wish the fabric was softer.Overall I highly recommend this weighted blanket. We have both slept much deeper with the weight. In the winter I like to sleep with a quilt and a down comforter for the weight ... now I can get that same relaxing weight all year long.Update:I’ve had this blanket laundered twice and she always comes back clean. However, the color has faded and the weight in the small squares seems to shift to one side. I did order the cover that was recommended but it never fit correctly on the blanket. The center ties were off not allowing it to secure properly. Plus it’s a real pain in the a to put the cover on.

I have severe RSL, fibromyalgia, and anxiety. I don't sleep well. I went to my doctor for my prescritions for my kegs and he suggested a weighted blanket. I read reviews of many of the blankets on Amazon and kept coming back to this blanket. I liked reading that it is made of quality material, has double stitching, and non-smelly fill. So I bit the bullet and ordered. It is definitely not the most expensive, kind of mid-range in price. I kept reminding myself that the reviews were great. I was excited waiting for it to come. I ordered it on Saturday and got it the following Tuesday. I immediately unpacked it, laid it on my bed and got under it. Wow! I got the 17 pounder, and it's a dandy. It took several nights to fully get used to it, but the first night I slept 5 hours straight. I don't remember moving. Best of all, my legs weren't jumpy for the first time in a looong time. I'm used to the blanket now. Once I'm in bed, I'm in and I don't wake up nearly as much. I guess I feel more secure. I love this blanket. It is changing my life because I'm getting quality sleep and I feel so much better during the day. Try it! You may like it!

Love this Blanket! If you have been researching weighted blankets, as I did for hours, look no more. I debated such a luxurious purchase, but what they say about the benefits to using one of these is TRUE! Out like a light and now stay there sleeping. The blanket itself is super high quality, with even weight distribution, heavy duty stitching, no weird smells, and at a fraction of the cost of the more expensive well known national brand. Easily compares in quality, if not exceeds it (likely the same thing if you ask me)I liked this too because it is the more traditional "King" size measurements for a blanket. This gives one tons of options for the protection of the blanket with a duvet. The other ones are weird sizes and didn't have many options for a duvet either, especially that were reasonably priced. Great passionate seller, who truly loves his product. Answered all my questions. Buy it, and buy it with confidence!

I LOVE this weighted blanket I purchased from HomeSmart Products. It is quality.I purchased another brand a few months back and all the weighted material inside the blanket would shift to one side or corner of the blanket to another. I felt like I had to wrestle trying to even it out to use it.When I took this HomeSmart blanket out it was smooth with no shifting of the weight inside. The overall feel of this blanket is really nice and just feels well made.I purchased the king for our queen bed and I’m really glad I did. It hangs we over the sides and end of the bed which makes it easy to keep both my wife and I covered through the night.I have purchased hundreds of products from amazon over the last 20 years. This is probably only the 10th product I have stopped to write a review on.Cheers!

I originally gave this a one star because amazon sent me the incorrect size. The manufacturer contacted me and very quickly sent me the king size. It fits my bed perfectly and we love our blanket so much! The customer service was fantastic and very helpful of correcting this mistake! I would buy again even with the little hiccup!

I have ordered both the king and queen sizes. The blanket is great quality. The fabric is heavy and stitching is even. The weight is evenly distributed. I ordered these as a compromise between my husband, who likes his blankets to have weight, and myself, who can’t stand to sleep hot. We’re both very happy and have been sleeping great since I put it on the bed. I love that it breathes and doesn’t make you sweaty. It’s a fantastic price point for blankets of this size and quality.The absolute best part of this purchase is the customer service I’ve received from the seller. My initial blanket was mislabeled and arrived in the wrong size. The company went above and beyond to get a new blanket out to me and when there was a delay in shipping they also refunded my money. They really provided exceptional customer service and turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. I walked away from the transaction feeling like they really cared about my experience with their company.Highly recommend both the product and the seller.

I spent quite sometime researching before making the leap and ordering this blanket, the reviews definitely helped with making the decision, I can promise you they are not paid for reviews. My experience is right on par with most that have taken the time to do so.First off one of the best parts is that it fit exactly into our old duvet cover and matched up to the corner ties which was a huge aspect for me. It fits perfectly for a large king size bed with great coverage draping over the mattress with my wife and I under it.We chose the 30lb option a higher percentage than suggested for our body weight, am I ever glad we did.This blanket naturally swatled our bodies for one of the best sleeps I have ever had, did not wake once through out the night until my alarm went off for work in the morning. I usually wake and stir 5-6 times through out the night and often find I am awake about 20 mins each time before I can settle back to sleep only to wake again an hour or so later.For those that are concerned at excessive heat trapped from these blankets, as I was going into the purchase.... if you have a ceiling fan above your bed, put it to medium settings and the flow of air seems enough to keep the blanket cool almost as transference of surface temperature. I sleep quite hot and this actually kept me cooler than our previous Duvets in the past.So if you are debating on getting one of these or another product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO BUY THIS ONE!!! You will not be disappointed at all!!

This is a great blanket. I would buy it again. It swaddles you and is incredibly comfy. I bought the 25lb King-sized shipped for 200 CAD. I wouldn't go heavier or lighter and I probably would not pay more than this ad I see these listed for 300ish. I don't buy into a lot of the aggressive weighted blanket marketing - there's a lot of options these days and this is definitely a last pick - made in China - one reservation I had as I avoid cheap stuff like the plague. However at the end of the day it's one thing - a blanket with weight. Most blankets arguably are made in China. So is this the perfect one for you? If you love breathable cotton sheets (like myself) then you will love this blanket. If you like fleece or high thread count "slippery" feeling sheets - don't buy this. It is very very comfy.So far I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. One thing - this blanket is marketed as "hanging off the bed" - the king sized DOES NOT hang off the side of my regular king bed, which is a good thing because A PROPERLY FITTED WEIGHTED BLANKET DOESN'T HANG OFF THE EDGES. Trust me on this - bigger is not better. You don't want it hanging off your bed, but fitted to the sleeping area.Contrary to some reviews, the blanket IS well-made and the beads DO NOT shift. If you're complaining about beads shifting in this blanket then you're definitely a Karen and I pity you.This is also not magic sleep quality panacea. It is just a blanket, though I will attest being swaddled by this badboy is heavenly.

I suffer from anxiety and was told that a weighted blanket would help me sleep. I still believe that one will, just not this one.I bought the king size 15 lb blanket because it is 10% of my body weight. When the blanket is folded it is 15 pounds, but when it’s spread across a king sized bed, it feels just as heavy as a regular blanket. In fact, the duvet that I was using before was heavier! To return the blanket it would cost me money, and I couldn’t really afford the blanket to begin with. I’m so disappointed. I folded the blanket in half which certainly made it heavier, but I was scorching hot and sweaty.

I’m very pleased with this blanket. I’ve only slept under it for a few nights so I have no idea how it will stand up to washing etc.The beads inside are extremely tiny and they’re cushioned between some sort of soft fabric. You can’t even feel the beads unless you press firmly between your fingers.The fabric is soft and is securely sewn. There is no shifting of the beads at all.I bought the 20 lb blanket and when it arrived I thought “no way, it’s way too heavy. When the blanket is on the bed the weight is distributed all over the bed so it feels really nice and cozy.I sleep with my 10 lb dog and at first I was concerned that the weight would be too heavy for her but it doesn’t appear to be a problem.The fit is exactly like the picture shows. Mine is queen size and there’s a bit of overhang over the edges, unlike many other weighted blankets.I plan on buying a duvet cover for it to keep it clean longer.This is well worth the price and I would recommend it highly. My sleep quality is much better.This blanket is definitely warm. I live in Canada so it is much appreciated.
