Perfect knife!
This knife is replacing a modern looking single blade lockback I gave my son. I wanted something more traditional but still locked. This knife has double locking blades and is actually much better looking than the picture indicates. It came pretty sharp and has a substantial feel to it. Very slight tool marks (sharp edges) were easily honed down. It feels like a nice quality knife in the hand. The best thing was the price. Less than $15 delivered. At this price I'm sure it was made in China but the QC must be tight. Nice knife!!We'll see if it holds up but it looks very promising!

Handy
Cheap knife decent enough to carry around and cut. I had to return/exchange the first because the handle was busted but that was no problem. Not the normal super quality you would expect from Boker but for $10 it was good. Ended up being a stocking stuffer for a friend. The blades come sharp and the douple lock is nice for both blades.

$18? Hell of a knife for $18.
I have been using pocket folders for over 40 years. I've had them all: Buck full-size Stockman, Old-Timer, Schrade's, Case's, no-name single blade lockbacks, almost every Victorinox SAK you can think of, etc.I clean birds with them, cut baling string, cut rope, pry open paint can lids, whatever. Just like you, I use them for anything and everything. I've still got some of them, and have lost others. I've bought some that I've never really taken to, and they just sit in different dusty places or get given away. If I break a blade, I send them back to the manufacturer to get fixed. With that experience, I can tell you that for $18, this is one hell of a good little knife. Is it finished like a $75 Case XX? No, it is not. You'll find a spot here and there that's not, well, perfect. And, right on the box, it says "Made in China." But the blades are tight in the bolsters, the lock mechanisms are very strong, and it's a solid piece of workmanship. You get the impression that Boker has a German expat from the home office over there in the Chinese factory, watching 24/7, making sure that they do the job right before the knife goes in the box.The blades are plenty long for cleaning fish, dressing a chukar, or whatever, and just on this side of big enough for cleaning a deer, lamb, javelina, etc.. It's a BIG folder: you're not going to wear it work in the pocket of your wool suit pants. But, it'll definitely be right at home in the front/rear pocket of your jeans, work shorts, hunting jacket, etc.Tonight at dinner I used the spey blade to slice pieces of sourdough bread in half, and then shave off slices of butter from a frozen butter stick and butter the toast. The little bastard is versatile. And when it falls through that hole in your pocket, down your leg, and into the mud, never to be seen again, you're only out $18.As others have said, double-bladed lockback folders are very hard to find. It's great to have a folding blade that won't fold back on your fingers and cut the %$&^ out of you because it's locked, and it's even greater to have two blades that lock like that.Buy it. You won't be sorry. I just ordered 6 more, for friends and for replacements.******Additional Comments, two days later******* As I said, I ordered 6 more. I inspected them closely, and two of them had enough wrong with them that I am exchanging them. Specifically, the "unlockers" on the back of the knives were not flush with the back of the knife, making the knife mildy uncomfortable in the hand. Also, the blades wiggled quite a bit when they were open. No problem; the other four were as good as the first order--excellent value for the dollar. I asked for a replacement, and I have no doubt that the new ones will be excellent. If they're not, I'll keep sending them back (free shipping) until I get two more that are as good as the others.I have had a chance to use the knives quite a bit the last couple of days. They are as I stated before: EXCELLENT value for the money.

Good knife and both blades lock open!!
I too have had many knives over the last 40+ years. This is as good as the case brand knife I lost recently. Also a rough rider brand trapper I have. Bought this because both blades lock open. Hard to find this feature. The blade steel is 440C high carbon steel. Not 440A or 440B. Holds an edge well. Feels good in the hand but I will sand down the sharp edges on the scales. Good knife, would buy again.

Got two - 1 good and 1 bad
Good steel - sharpens easily and holds an edge well. Fit and finish is not the best, but okay given the price. I bought two and on one of them one of the blades would not stay shut and getting the lock to release was very difficult. I kept the good one and returned the other and the return went great. Quality control is not up to par.

Disappointed!!!
Bought this for an EDC and was happy when I got it but that didn’t last long. I carried it for about a week and all of a sudden the Spey blade opened up in my pocket. For whatever reason now if you hold the knife upside down the Spey blade will open about 1/4 of the way and will not stay locked open. The clip style blade seems too work ok but is a little looser than I like and I don’t carry it anymore due to the Spey blade coming open in my pocket. I always heard good things from Boker but this knife turned me away from them.

This was disappointing. The good:- The blades were adequately sharp- The design looks nice- The bone and its shield were put on well- The bolsters were polished quite nicely, and the pins in them were completely invisible. The bad:- The front corner of the closed blade cuts into your fingers. You're always going to have one open and one closed, so the knife is always extremely uncomfortable to hold- The liners were loose- you could see daylight between each lockbar and liner- The blades were crooked enough that the points touch when you open them both together- The blades were both VERY loose when locked open both left-to-right and up-and-down. The clip blade moved more than 1/8" up-and-down while locked open. If you shook the knife, the blade rattled.- The lockbar and spring worked poorly. It was tough to press both down together (you pretty well have to press both to unlock either).I write all this in the past tense because I dismantled the knife to use the parts for a pattern. I'll make one myself.
