BOSS RC-1 Loop Station Pedal

Per my experience, this BOSS RC-1 Looper pedal is a nice first level that can be helpful for practicing with improvisation, songwriting, and whatever else you are using it for. Functionality: It works well, but in order to really get it to actually pause, stop, delete an overdub but not deleting the whole thing, you have to fiddle with the modes a little bit by holding the pedal down and then unplugging your cable from the output and then plugging it back in. Then you will see the red band, green band, and red and green band in upward position. This makes this pedal experimental. Power supply does not come with this, so you can buy it separately or buy another 9V battery . It comes with a 9V battery which lasts for a little bit but if you are using it alot, getting a spare can be helpful For connectivity, it will not work with a cable that is damaged or lower in quality in my experience.

The best in my terms. Loop for real time events on time. Very durable looking. Sounds great in the home studio.

Simplicity and reliability are why I love this looper. This is my first looper. It works really well, it’s so straightforward. The other models may have more features, but I’m old, I like things that aren’t too complicated. Sound quality is great. No hiss, no issues. Boss makes quality gear what can I say. Very happy with this. These are excellent for practice and composition. Definitely recommend this looper.

Simple. Easy to use. Has all the inputs and output combos you would want to start experimenting with looping. It’s quality too, you could save 50% buying a cheap simple looper - don’t do it. The difference in responsiveness to your exact tapping moment is so noticeable and when looping that makes all the difference.

Just like advertised

User friendly performance ready out of the box

This product was shipped and delivered on time. It took a little time to get the hang of using it. I am not an instrumentalist so I did want this pedal to practice my solo skills. Some of the instructions are a little vague but there are online videos at Boss and YouTube that help you out. The led display for recording/overdub is simple yet easy to follow. Kinda bummed that you have to buy another accessory to use the Stop/undo function. I tried using an old keyboard switch pedal instead but have yet to make the undo work. All in all I got what I paid for and it's a great product to begin with. Wasn't sure how much I would use it so I didn't go for a more expensive one. For now . . . lets go play guitar!

Great pedal.

Cordialement,

This was one of my first guitar pedals and it is fun! Boss is reliable and a leader in guitar pedals!
