Can you tell me how much this weighs?

The alloy rack with the LED light with batteries weighs 195 grams or just under 7 ounces.  I have a picture of it on the scale if I can figure out how to post it.  Bottle cages will vary depending on brand, model, and material of the cage.  Inflators weigh very little.   We offer the inflator shown in the picture for $15.  If you order one separate on Amazon, contact us to request the set screw, which we will include for free, for use with the rack.

1. How many lumens is the light?  2. Can a third bottle cage be mounted at the rear-facing holes?

Accepted Answer

1)  This type of light is a safety light not meant to navigate by.  Lumens are not a manufacturers spec for red safety lights.  They are definitely bright and greatly increase the bike visibility to cars.  2) Yes this rack is intended for 1, 2, or 3 bottle cages.  To install 3 cages it is necessary to use the longer screws, included with the rack, and replace the short black screws that attach the sides to the reinforced back of the rack.  You do it in this order:  remove the top black screw and use a longer screw to attach the cage to the top hole.  Tighten 80% so you can rotate the cage.  Next remove the bottom black screw and use the next longer screw to attach the  bottom of the cage.  Tighten both screws 100%.  Then repeat on other side.  Doing it in this order makes it much easier since the rack remains intact without one side being detached from the thicker reinforced back of the rack.  We also offer an aero bag option.  The bag can be attached to the back of the rack with screws or to the bottle cages on a bike frame or don't cut the Velcro straps off and attach to the top tube.
