Beautiful, sturdy crib
We are really happy with this crib. It's incredibly sturdy, high-quality, and very attractive. It took longer than the cited hour to put together, but it wasn't difficult. There are three heights for the bottom, depending on the age/size of your child. We used an electric screwdriver to assemble it--it's not necessary, but it made it much easier (and made me more confident about the tightness of all the fastenings).

Looks great!
Sturdy crib, looks really good but assembly wasn’t as easy as expected. My husband had to drill out the leg wholes because they didn’t line up with the frame. All in all very nice crib but definitely a bit expensive.

Overpriced and Under-Manufactured
We saw this crib while in a brick and mortar store crib shopping. After hitting several more stores we decided we liked the look of this crib the best and took advantage of Amazon Prime for the shipping. Pros: - White and Walnut combination is aesthetically pleasing Cons: - $670 price tag - Manufacturing tolerances are awful, making assembly a bear - Doesn't feel as sturdy as it could The crib looks nice, but at this price point I feel the quality of the product came up a little short. There are lots of cribs under this price point that feel a bit sturdier than the Rhea and which can bring together a similar aesthetic. We reached a bit on this product thinking it could be an heirloom type piece but it's far from heirloom quality, with pressed wood construction rather than solid wood (or certainly not hardwood -- could be a softer wood). As I mentioned above, the assembly was a bit of a bear as the holes in adjoining pieces did not line up with each other, requiring us to force several screws to bore the existing holes wider on their way through. This is a two beer job, with a second pair of hands very helpful in several instances. Overall, I would not recommend this product but would instead suggest either identifying a cheaper alternative with a similar aesthetic OR identifying a higher quality crib with solid wood construction that will stand the test of time.

Not good quality - Returned
I believed the hype. Great reviews fr happy parents. And it's true this is a beautiful crib in pictures. However, the "walnut" wood is just plywood that's been stained a "walnut" color. For the kind of money they are charging it should be real walnut. Secondly, the underside of the crib came cracked in two places. Poor construction or materials or shipping? I don't know. Also the brad nails the manufacturer used to fix the dowels into the cross bar were visible. I'm no expert wordworker but a little wood fill prior to staining and sanding could have prevented that eye sore. See pics for all my points. The saving grace is Amazon's no fuss return policy which makes me a loyal Amazon customer and happy to keep on shopping with them.

Stuck in the spaces between railings.
It’s a good looking crib, but my baby keeps getting his arms and legs stuck in the railings and wakes up crying. We have another crib that we use on weekends and this only happens with this crib. Not sure why the space between railings is smaller with the Oeuf Rhea than with my other, less expensive crib from Land of Nod.

Excellent quality but very difficult to assemble. We are happy that it's made of great materials without any chemicals, so we have peace of mind with it.
