Works like a champ.
I bought this because I had purchased a router from someone who sold me a router that didn't have the proper power adapter. Plus, I figured I could use it for whatever else needed it. After doing the research to see what the power requirements were, I bout it and I immediately saw that it was a quality adapter. The blue light that shines on it is a nice touch. It's long enough to reach where needed though it is a tad big. But out of the box, it made my router pull the power it needed, though the router was defective. No worries. I can find another use for it. Great power supply.

Great aftermarket power adapter
After a recent move the wall wart ...... I mean power adapter was missing. Probably the work of the local band of thieves who target small electronic devices. At any rate I needed a power adapter and based on the good reviews, long cord, and very attractive price, I purchased the Pwr+ unit.It has been working great. The thing has very good build quality, a nice long cord, doesn't get very warm when working (a problem for some other power adapters I have had), and, in my opinion, is well worth the $14 purchase price.

works great and in specifacation
works great and in specification. Best thing about it is the power on light bright enough to see in well lit room but not too bright at night. It has a frosted lens over the indicator LED. A little larger than your average power supply of this type but not hot at all when using it or just plugged into the wall. Also doesn't block the sister plug in your outlets.

And I am satisfied. A few things I noticed
The PSU of my E2000 died after many years of service. I didn't want to trash the whole router because of that-- it was reflashed with DD-WRT and has served as a 5 GHz wireless bridge. I could have dug through my junk drawer to see if I could find a 12v 2A DC adapter and splice in the correct barrel connector but I couldn't find a PSU in that rating. I could have also re-purposed the PSU from my E4200 v2 since it was compatible. But I didn't want to rob Peter to pay Paul as I was planning on using the E4200's PPTP function for another project. So it came down to two things: Do I spend ~$15 to replace the PSU or spend more $$$ on either a new wireless bridge (which, surprising as of this writing, isn't as plentiful as it was a few years ago) or DD-WRT compatible 5 GHz router? I decided to spend the $15 first to see if this model would work. And it did. And I am satisfied.A few things I noticed: The brick itself is larger than the OEM supply. Whether that will impact how it is plugged into the wall or strip depends on the outlet itself. This PSU is also compatible with the E4200 v2 and will also work with a E900 and E1200 (but at the price point of a refurb E900/E1200, from Linksys directly, it might be cheaper to buy the refurb just for the E900/E1200 PSU).

Great Adapter, but be Wary
This adapter works fine with most Linksys WiFi routers (i.e. the ones listed in the product description), but please be aware that if your adapter is not listed, the inner contact of your router's connector may be too small for the jack on this adapter, though it should still work (like what happened with my E1000 router). Though the adapter may work, the router may lose power and reset if bumped! Aside from that, this is a great product.

Mine broke when I unplugged it...
The legs just broke and stayed in the outlet...

Good product and working fine on initial period
This adapter is so far working great for Linksys E1000. It has been about 3 to 4 weeks. Previously different brand adapter went bad after about 2 years so longevity is not known yet.
