Yup. Worth it.
At the time of writing, I've had the intake installed on my daily driver for a month now. So far, I love it.The product came very well packed. Nothing came damaged, and there wasn't any styrofoam or anything that couldn't be recycled. Very nice. Everything was pretty well labelled, with the exception of the hardware. It was kind of obvious what went where after staring at the diagram, but I used the wrong length of screws the first time and had to take it back apart. **PLEASE BE AWARE** there are two lengths of screw. Use the short ones to put the housing together and don't be a dummy like me. The hoses had a bit of extra length, as did the weatherstripping.Assembly was pretty straightforward. The hardest part was trying to make out what the pictures in the diagram were showing. The print quality was pretty low. The video on youtube helped fill in the gaps. The screw to hold the top cover to the heat shield did not line up for me, but I think my subframe is slightly bent. Other than that, everything went pretty smoothly. Again, pay attention to the length of screw and it should be fine. The sound on this thing is amazing! There's a nice, audible whoosh when accelerating, and the sound of the recirc valve is very present. It's pretty close to the sound of a blow-off valve, and very audible with the windows down. Inside the cabin, the noise is very noticeable with the stereo off. I have the dimension audio package, and at volume 4 the sound of the stereo and intake are about equal. At volume 8, the intake is audible, but barely. At volume 12, the intake sound is covered completely. As far as performance: The throttle response is a bit better, but during daily driving doesn't make much of a difference. Spirited driving it is very noticeable, however. I've noticed that when the turbo kicks in now, it's much more sudden. I measured my 0-60 with TC off three times prior to installing the intake with the torque app and OBD reader, and three times after:Stock:Run 1: 8.165Run 2: 8.199Run 3: 8.345 (wheelspin)Intake:Run 1: 7.911Run 2: 7.955Run 3: 7.983Seems like I got a nice little bump in power from this thing. I also measured the intake temperature before and after. Ambient on both days was 76F. With the engine warmed up, the starting intake temp was about 95 degrees for both. As the engine heated up from the runs, the stock temp increased to 102, and the K&N increased to 106. Not a huge difference, but it's certainly not pulling in cold air.Overall, I'm very impressed with this product. For the sound alone, it's worth it., the power bump is just a nice little bonus.

K&N #1
Purchased this item for my 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. Item came well packaged and arrived safely. Followed manufacturer instructions and installed fairly easy. All materials in the intake kit appear to be great quality with no issues. Love the sound that the K&N system provides over the stock airbox. To hear the turbo "Whoosh" sound and gained some HP, i am very happy and feel like the engine is breathing easier and improves driving experience.

Great product. Missing 2 important parts!
First off, the product does what it says. It increased snapiness of my acceleration, improved gas mileage, and it sounds so good! Not sure if I actually gained HP but the car feels so much better with this! The product feels high quality as per usual with K&N products. The intake tube is a polished aluminum. The heat guards and brackets are metal too, not sure what they are made of. The rubber tube for the BPV system and trim for the heat shields are not cheap rubber. My only issue with this kit is the lack of parts required for install. I was missing the barb that threads in to the side of the intake tube and one of the clamps was too small to even fit into the intake where it mounts to the car. Luckily the instructions are really indeapth so we were able to go to the hardware store and buy the correct peices that we were missing from the kit.I wish I could give this product 5stars for the price. Due to missing hardware for the price I knocked a few off. I still reccomend this, just be advised you may need to take a few trips to your local hardware store for an extra $6 for the little but important things. Get yourself good clippers to cut the stripping that goes on the heat shield and a tube of vaseline for the BPV. Vaseline made the install so much easier! XDOver all I'm happy with it. Happy boosting in your Veloster. The sounds are intoxicating.

One hour install on 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo
If you are wondering if this is worth the money (and you don't mind the extra sound) let me tell you, it is WORTH IT!I've seen a 2-3 MPG improvement.Better power response ( i cannot tell you actual numbers as I don't dyno my car)Awesome air intake sound with turboThe install was around 3/10 difficulty; it's pretty easy if you look at the video on youtube for it. I would suggest using the video over the paper instructions however using both is a plus. You will see a noticeable improvement on highway more than city with this. Upon cold start and acceleration you will hear this take in air, but it will calm down once cruising.Hope this reviewed helped! K&N Rocks.

Woooooosssshhhhh
gas mileage is the same or a little less. Its nominal though. The install was not terrible, though there were a couple hang ups. Nothing that someone with some basic mechanical knowledge won't figure out. Took longer than I expected. Another set of hands would be useful, but i did it with no help, and it turned out fine. Took about 2 hours. The sound is great (to me). Not overly loud....but def brings that turbo spool to life. Higher on the ram range is where the engine seems to run smoother. Maybe a little more hp on the upper band. Could be placebo effect, but i def think it makes highway driving a little more fun.

Great intake, but be careful
I love K&N and have used their products for a long time. I bought this for my 1st Gen Veloster Turbo, and unfortunately the intake tubing past the filter had these small round metal pellets inside, almost like tiny ball bearings! I had to scrape them out as much as possible but it was hard to do, especially because I shouldn’t have to do that at all from such a reputable brand. Otherwise, it’s been great and I love the intake!
