Wonderful even heating.
It's really nonstick, cleans up well, survives utensils and the use of a whisk. The shape is really convenient. The one thing that I don't like is that I have to use a toothbrush to clean around the rivets. I'm suing my all metal Analon lid because I hate that glass/metal groove around the edges. The glass lid did fit nicely, though. I have it in reserve. This pan heats well and evenly, it's a great saute and frying pan.I especially like that I can start cooking things then put them in the oven. I can brown the meat, pour off the oil, pour in a little wine and deglaze the pan, add rice and broth and veggies then transfer to the oven for simmering . . . voila, stew.

Yes. Definitely yes.
If you're looking at this pan, you know what you want. If you're a fan of Circulon and know how enjoyable it is to cook on their surfaces, this is just another pan for you, get it. If you're a first-timer and want to try out a new type of pan, this one is for you, too.Cons: Stainless steel lid handle can get warm.Pros:- Heavy, solid materials make it long-lasting & durable.- Gorgeous. The stainless steel makes this pan look like a part of the cooking-elite category.- DuPont non-stick surface is second to none. I use minimal oil (for flavor mostly) and NOTHING sticks.- On low to medium heat (you won't ever need to use high) you get a perfectly even cooking surface.- Dishwasher safe!- Metal utensil safe! (Seems impossible, but the nonstick coating is rated for metal utensil use, beat that Calphalon/All-Clad)

Very nice pair of skillets
Can you keep a secret? In my family, it's heresy if not treason to use or approve of anything but cast iron skillets. So please don't tell them! But … I hate the weight of a big iron skillet -- unless I'm reaching for weaponry. And cleaning one after frying eggs or potatoes? Maybe I don't season them properly, but I'm always tempted just to throw them away at that point. So far, I'm quite pleased with these small but substantial pans. Granted, I'm not cooking for an army, but these do a fine job for what I need -- pans to sautee onions and other veggies, fry burgers, French toast, bacon … and make the occasional pan of fried potatoes for two. Without doing penance with an hour of scouring afterwards. The 10-inch skillet is the one I use most, perhaps because I have a lid that fits it well. I have not noticed any tipping problem with either pan, possibly because I use an electric cooktop. And as insurance, I use a silicone handle cover. I don't think I've used them in the oven, but it's nice to have that option available.I considered adding the matching 12-inch covered skillet to my kitchen-tool arsenal, but for now, for once, I don't feel I really need one. Maybe I'll get a cast-iron skillet or two instead, to hang as decorations. And to avoid needless family feuds. Wish me luck

No Regrets
The handle on the lid gets REALLY hot! I have to use another brand's lid. It's great to saute and grill with! Food does not stick to this pan. The bottom does not stay in its original stainless steel when you take it out of the box.My pan already is brown at the bottom only. I still love my pan. No regrets!

Good skillet for the price
This is the second one of these I have bought as the non-stick coating on the first one wore off after a year of fairly heavy use. That is the same as has happened with every non-stick skillet I have used. It is a good size and the high sides are great for stir frying etc. It also has a heavy base so the heat is evenly distributed. I have found this one to the right combination of features, quality and price. The quality is good and as they have to be replaced every year why pay a lot of money for a more expensive one? It is not the thickest metal and both the pan and the lid can get little dents. It doesn't affect the cooking only the aesthetics. I still give it 5 stars because of the price which is lower than the competition.

Best skillet/pan I've ever used
Best pan ever! I love this pan. It's huge and very deep so making something like two frozen bag meals is no problem. I even made a potato soup mix in it. I have put foods in it that would have stuck like crazy in other pans but it just wipes right out of this. It's dishwasher safe also but since it's so easy to clean, I often just wash it out with some dish soap and a paper towel. It is very sturdy and seems high quality. The only thing you have to remember with it is to use a pot holder on the lid handle because that will get hot. Also, it works great on my induction stove--the main reason I bought the pan. However, if I'd known how nice these were, I would have ditched my old skillets long ago.

Outstanding 8.5" French Skillet
This 8.5 inch French skillet/pot is well-made and high quality. The interior dimensions are 8 inch diameter at the top, about 6.25 inches of flat bottom, and about 1.9 inches deep. It will hold about 1.5 quarts, but probably only 1 quart safely. I wanted a small frying pan and small pot for soup or gravy and this is perfect. The interior non-stick coating is very good, with easy clean-up. The handle is strong, the bottom is thick, and works on my induction cooktop fine. It appears this skillet should last a long time, especially as I use low heat and non-metal utensils.

Heavy and Sticky
This skillet has pretty much failed at being nonstick since I first purchased it. I really should have sent it back while I had the option, but I wanted to like it. It is an attractive skillet, and its heft was initially pleasing to me. Now it just feels heavy, and the handle digs into my hand when I heave the skillet around. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

We purchased this to go with a set of saucepans that we already had,we are really pleased with it the only down side was that it had a high postage fee as it had to come from the US
