It works.
My system is old, I don't even remember when I bought it but I would say over 20 years. This was a match for my old remote that was getting weaker and started not controlling my system. This was a pleasant surprise.

Surprised this is available
In 2005 I bought a DVD home theater system. Over the years, one by one, the buttons on the remote stopped working. I was so surprised that they had an exact replacement to a remote so old. The remote is a little lighter than the original so it might not be comparable quality to the original, but hey, it works.
