I use them to scoop cake batter. I would suggest spraying them with spray butter if you try this option, makes the clean up easier.

The 3 sizes of the scoops are good and great for use of cookies. I usually use the two smallest ones, as they seem to be a good size. My biggest issue with these are that you should not put them in the dishwasher...HAND WASH THEM! The problem is that water gets inside the handle and rusts. Then when you go to use the scoop, the rust water comes out into whatever you just made. I have been taking off the end cap and making sure it’s clean before use but wanted to warn others! Other than that, they are fine. Not amazing quality but they get the job done and for a good price!

I’m so surprised that people have had bad luck with these! I’ve had my set for almost 2 years and they’re still in great shape. The largest is fantastic for muffins and cupcakes. The medium size is great for cookies and meatballs. I don’t use the smaller one as much as the other two. I use them about once every week to two weeks and wash in the dishwasher. Would definitely recommend.

The scoop release mechanism is below average and sometimes gets stuck requiring intervention. I am unsure if I would purchase again.

I've used all 3 sizes, but I use the medium size the most. I mostly use them for muffins but have done cookies as well. I've put it in the dishwasher multiple times, and it is holding up great, the lever doesn't stick.
