This blanket is an authentic Solaron blanket made in Vietnam. One ply only, 10lbs. Is soft, warm, correct size and excellent quality. I have a Koto Korean blanket (2 ply) for the past 9 years and still soft, the Koto one is lesser quality than the Solaron (see picture of tiger pattern blanket). The best way to keep you blanket looking good and avoiding shedding is by washing it carefully. You have to wash it using cold water only and in a big washing machine with a gentle cycle. Use very little detergent and no softener. I go to a laundromat and wash it once a year after I finish using it, then I store it. Once a year should be enough. You can tumble dry, but in a very low setting or on air. I forgot one time to put the low setting and lost it softness it some small areas. I see many people complaining that blankets (especially other brands) lose their softness or get full of lint after one wash. The main reason is, they are washing them incorrectly. My brother has the same blanket like mine (different design) and he washed at home and now is full of lint and not as soft, his is 9yrs old too.

The solaron blanket is so soft and warm. It's the only blanket needed to stay warm on a cold winter's night. I don't even use a flat sheet because the blanket is so soft and luxurious. It's not a weighted blanket so dont expect it to use it as such. I weighed the box on a professional scale and it was over 13 lbs. As described. However its breathable and not too heavy. Very comfortable. If you have a queen bed I would recommend buying the king blanket. My only complaint is that the blanket needs to be wider than it is. Its a tug of war every night lol

This blanket is amazing! I was not expecting such a thick, heavy blanket! The colors on this are bright and it's such a pretty blanket. I thought it was kinda pricey but the quality of this is worth every penny! It is VERY warm and it makes it very hard to get out of bed in the morning. I don't need another one but I'm trying to find an excuse to buy more!

En total es lo que estaba buscando, la amé, basicamemte me enfoque en buscar un peso alto y en la publicación dice que pesaba13 libras, para lo cual no es cierto, ya que en el empaque dice que pesa 4.8 KG, esto equivale a 10.58 libras. Lo importante es que es pesada, caliente y valio la pena la compra; sugiero que aclaren el peso acertado para no crear falsas espectativas al cliente, califíco 4 por esta unica razón. La pedi en un solo fondo ya que no me gustan los estampados y es realmente hermoso y vivo el color morado, compraré la roja.

This blanket is so soft and warm. I can't explain how soft it really is, like maybe a baby rabbit. Its heavy too! This think is like sleeping on,in under a cloud.

Worth the money I had this blanket before and sold wish I didn’t so bought again bought the king size go fit my queen bed because I like good hang over

I absolutely loved this blanket! If you are searching for something plush and comfortable, that will keep you warm, this is it! I have tried several different purchases of this type of blanket and been extremely disappointed due to the poor quality and thinness of the blankets. But this one supersedes any that I have purchased, and would love to purchase more in different designs if available

This is as described. It's very thick and the king does weigh 13 pounds. The print is beautiful, not the loud, gaudy colours. I've had 2 other plush bedspreads from other companies and they do not touch this Solaron.I have a twin to use it on but ordered the king because my first two were so undersized. So on the twin bed, the bed spread covers it all the way to the floor on both sides. I don't think it's wide enough for a true king...but I like bedspreads to drape to the floor on both sides.The seller/shipper "Urbanity Trading" outperformed. I received the shipment seveal days before their estimated time. It came just before 8 am, while I was outside. It came in perfect condition.I would order this brand again - now that I've seen how heavy, soft and well made it is - probably won't bother with other brands.

Absolutely love the blanket its lighter then my dragon one but it will keep my warm all winter
