Ideal StandardT679301 Tempo/Kheops Soft Close Toilet seat, White

I nearly didn’t purchase this as the description and reviews made me think it would not be a good quality product? I imagined it would be flimsy but am pleased to report it is solidly made. The hinges are silent and the seat is a perfect fit for my ideal toilet. Fixings are fiddly if you have difficulty accessing the rear of the pan but that was the only drama when carrying out the installation. At full price the item is really expensive and I wouldn’t have paid it as there are plenty more for half the price but as a warehouse deal it was exceptionally good value.Edit:I have now received a second for another toilet in the house and am equally as pleased as I was with the first. Installation was much quicker and easier the second time around too.Edit:I have now purchased a third, it is different to the other two and an improvement I might add. The lid is now a quick release and can be easily removed for cleaning underneath. Like the other two the action is silent and the lid is strong. Not all of the fixings had been included ( a warehousedeal) and I had to use some of the fixings from the one I removed.Installation is easier too with the improved version.

Reluctantly purchased this as it looked like the only seat to fit my non-Ideal toilet due to the shape. Yes it did match the shape and looks ok but needed to use the existing fittings from the old seat as those supplied required access to the underside of the toilet which wasn't available. Thought the quality would be better for the over the top price compared to others but at least it looks ok.

Fantastic! I bought a used toilet! Its classed as used because the box had the front layer of carboard ripped off. (Most likey where a delivery sticker had been and pulled off some of the carboard. But it came in another box too with all the parts. The sit is brand new still in its cellophane with all the part. For £50 off and a box ill through away I definitely i got a good deal.
