A stainless steel case ensures high-quality durability and modern style in this handsome Timex Men's Expedition Dive Style Watch #T49618, complemented by a deep black dial face. Geometric, silver-tone indices add a modern touch while the stationary, black-tone bezel displays large Arabic numerals to mark 10-second increments. The shock-resistant watch includes a date calendar at three o'clock and night-light illumination. It's finished with a durable, buckle-fastened resin wrist band. This watch is water resistant to 660 feet.

This is a great watch plain and simple.the face is large enough that all it takes is one look to know what time it is.The hands and number marks are large as well and they glow all night long without needing to use the back light either.It's also not seven inches thick where you catch it on everything and are constantly aware of how thick or heavy it is.Which it isn't.The best thing though is on the tongue part of the band that goes into the slot of the opposite side of the band, it has a little protruding bud that clips into the slot.That way the band slide isn't constantly moving up and down leaving you with the end piece being exposed and also catching on things.You will not be embarrassed in any way by saying this is a Timex.Because you will also know that this thing will also take a beating and keep on ticking.

Great value
Excellent everyday or work watch if you work outdoors. Typical Timex reliability at a reasonable price with the indiglo that I love. I also really like the unique strap design that keeps the strap end pinned to my wrist.

Don't Buy -- It FOGS UP!
Whoever designed this Expedition Dive Style Timex Watch--T49618 should be fired! It happened to me, also--it FOGGED UP on the inside. I was just walking around in the city on a cool and sunny day--about one hour the watch became FOGGY. Granted, I am a warm bodied man but still I have never experienced a watch FOGGING UP. In addition, the blue backlight does not work now and the crystal scratch too easily. DO NOT BUY IT! I am going to mail the damn watch back to Timex so their research team can determine why the watch gets FOGGY for no reason---and then they can have honor of throwing it in the nearest damn trash can. I will never buy a Timex watch--again!

Timex makes the best watches
This is my third Timex watch. I have an Ironman one and an old digital one that is thirteen years old which still works (I have only replaced the battery once too)! Timex just astounds me at how much better quality their watches for such a reasonable price. I have a thing for watches but I can say with confidence that the Timex ones work perfectly (I have had multiple problems with Swiss Army and Tissot, which were a lot more money too, go figure).Have gone swimming with it without any problems. INDIGLO feature was a huge plus for me as well.AWESOME watch for a great price.

This is an 'outdoor' watch?
I bought this watch less than 3 months ago. Since then it has been put through relatively mild conditions but nothing even close to extreme. Within a month, the paint on the rotating bezel began to wear/chip off. And today I bumped it on my linoleum countertop (not exactly a hard surface!) and it shattered the mineral crystal between 7 and 8 o'clock (see user-submitted pictures above).. Hardly what I'd call an 'outdoor' watch, this thing didn't even last a few months. I'm pretty sure the 5-star reviewers on here reviewed their watch immediately after receiving it, prior to subjecting it to any kind of legitimate outdoor use, so disregard reviews talking about "how cool the watch looks" etc. This watch does look cool, for about a week before the paint starts to come off. In terms of the whole Timex brand, I'd just go with something better, this stuff is just cheap overpriced garbage.

It's OK but overpriced
It's not worth near what they were charging for it. The band on mine broke in less than two years of part-time use. Other than that, no problems with it. It's just too high-priced.

Great New Timex
I purchased this watch after a LOT of searching and trying to compare value for money across many brands and prices - including Mako, Wenger, Citizen, Seiko, Invicta, Luminox and Traser.I have an expensive and older Rolex that I wear during work days. I wanted something to wear on weekends, holidays, in the water etc. so that if something goes wrong I lose $'00s not $'000s.Two months in it is working great. It has been in the surf and no leaks; keeps great time and looks good. I have a large wrist yet the band fitted straight out of the box.At the end of the day I went for a $100 watch rather than a $300 one. Let's see how it lasts.

Great watch for the price
Looked around for a similar product with a large display, metal case and luminous dial and found them to be substantially higher priced. This watch is exactly what I am looking for and I'm glad I found it in a Timex as all my previous watches were Timex and I have never been disappointed. I'm sure I will enjoy years of use with this watch.

Its Great!
This brand has been my favourite from my childhood,since a kid I always wanted a timex and finally purchased this item,I'm very happy with it especially the body which is metal and has 200m waterproof casing,though it looks simple it's actually tough and stylish.coming to the pros/consPros1.tough stainless steel casing2.indiglo3.rubber strap(might not look well on all dressings but it's durable)4.200m water resistant5.luminescent dail(arms and hours glow in dark when exposed to light)6.fits well on slim wristsConsI didn't find any.###The crown needs to be unscrewed and pulled to change time and dateIf you are looking for a simple rugged watch and more WP I would suggest going for it! :)

A perfect watch. I got it for 2550
A perfect watch. I got it for 2550. but the watch was already running and date is updated. A stamp on the paper shows warranty w.e.f 01 jan 15. is it a return repaired watch. I need a answer from amazon that the watch was running for 02 years and battery got drained. Any way watch is good condition. I loved it. Managed to deliver on diwali. Thank you amazon. I & my family eveything purchase from amazon bcoz they sell geniuine products

Cool gadget, poor delivery service
Cool watch, nicely packed with stamp on warranty card. Product is as given by seller, but very slow delivery this time. I got the product after 2 days of expected delivery. Amazon customer care statements proved false regarding promise to deliver on time after contacting. Little disappointed with delivery time, but overall good experience. Anybody can go for it. My wrist is not big as I am a slim-built but still it looks pretty cool on my hand and watch is also simple and nice, I just loved it. Amazon rocks. In fact now a days I am more leaned towards amazon than flipkart as flipkart is little expensive.

fait ce pour quoi je l'ai achetée
je cherchais un montre noire mais en acier pour une utilisation exterieure et mouvementée.Avec son style "masculin", son prix pas trop élevé, je suis satisfait de ce produit: pas de prolème de fiabilité (la montre à 2,5 ans), elle est facile à lire, étanche. Seule la partie en pastique d'inscription sur la couronne donne des sugine d'usure.

The main concern
The main concern for me is that, the watch I got had the time and date set and was already running when opened. when I purchased a new item I was not expecting that. Also I don't know how to claim the warranty. There was no warranty card inside package.Would like to give a 5 stasr if amazon can address my concerns.Otherwise the watch looks really good for this price, I bought it for 2700.
