Buckwheat: While many people think that buckwheat is a cereal grain, it is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel making it a suitable substitute for grains for people who are sensitive to wheat or other grains that contain protein glutens. Buckwheat flowers are very fragrant and are attractive to bees that use them to produce a special, strongly flavored, dark honey. Buckwheat is grown as a grain crop, bee pasture, soil improving cover crop and as wildlife cover. Buckwheat is a warm season grain which grows rapidly during the summer. It takes about 70-80 day from seeds to harvest so you can can have several crops per year. For grain harvest, sow 3 months before fall frost Harvest after killing frost. Looks good where we came up
Honestly I can’t give an honest opinion because I planted it I did see some places where came up but then again I had other weeds down And we had a real dry spell for like three weeks so I’m not sure

TYRED THIS PRODUCT FOR DEER FOOD PLOT. EXPERIMENTED AT MY HOUSE IN FL DURING THE SUMMER. CAME UP, GREW AND FLOWERED, VERY HOT, DRY CONDITIONS. NOW PLANTED FOR FALL IN SOUTH GA.
