We have removed the pass-through function from all our portable chargers. Pass-through means it can charge the powerbank itself and charging a phone at the same time. When pass-through charging, if there is a difference between the output of the wall charger and the input of the device being recharged it can cause the portable charger to rapidly power on and off. This increases charging times for both the portable charger and your device, risks causing damage to the battery cells and can significantly shorten the portable charger's lifespan. PowerCore 15000 Redux could not charge the battery pack itself and charge a phone at the same time. When you plug the portable battery to the wall charger and you also plug a phone into the portable battery, it can only charge the portable battery and it does not charge the phone.

Almost all power banks can keep a charge longer then 7 days. Lightweight depends on a number of factors like number of ports, total power needed, power output.
