Got the job done
Just using this old S5 for a play phone for my 7yr old. The first screen they sent me didn't work so I sent it back and requested a new screen from the seller. The new one had fancier packaging and it worked great. Used some Grey rtv to glue it since the included tape didn't stick.

Had me a little worry when it was cutting off but works good
It fit good working just the guy who put it on said it’s from China not original so it was cutting off at first when it went on but after a day it started so good

Does the job but very thin
This is a boot leg version of the Samsung brand. This is the second time my screen cracks and I had to get something affordable for the mean time. The first replacement I bought was $150 Samsung brand and that was just the LCD screen that I replaced my self. I have replaced the LCD as you can see the old one I bought first was a Samsung brand which was really good and strong but this one when I tried fixing the home button it accidentally got stuck with the adhesive that it cracked real quick one I lifted it up with no force . It’s very thin and doubt it will last long. It does the job for $30 can’t complain it works perfect and smooth but I hope they make a thicker one that doesn’t break by touch that you hardly put force on. Another thing the tempered glass screen protector works perfect which I recommend putting on before changing the LCD screen so it doesn’t break like mines. The only thing since they scratched off the Samsung logo it’s harder for the tempered glass to stick on that area because of the bump they left behind. Would buy again unless I find something better or bette if you go pay extra for a professional to fix it for you and provides better quality materials

Not a perfect replacement
I needed to get some data off of a phone with a broken screen. The old screen was completely failed, making the phone inaccessible. With this kit, I was able to remove the old screen, and get this one working. The data has been retrieved, which was my primary goal.As a secondary goal. I wanted to get this phone working as a backup. This screen is not suitable for this purpose. It's thicker than the original display, and won't mount mount to the phone's frame without interference. If you plan on using the phone normally after installing this screen, you will be disappointed.Lastly, there are no directions for installing the screen. I watched some Youtube videos that other's have posted, but this kit is a little different than those shown in the videos. I have leftover parts, including a piece of glass, and no idea what they're for.The screen was inexpensive, and I was able to achieve my main objective with it, so I can't give it one star. However, I would not feel comfortable recommending this screen to anyone looking for a perfect replacement for their original one.

I knew what I was getting into, good for what it is.
buying literally the cheapest panel for my device, i knew that I couldn't expect OEM. this was good enough though. the installation was the inverse of removing the old screen, drop in, check function then glue, but the blacked out section where the samsung logo would be on an OEM screen did not take the adhesive as well as I would have liked, and the screen sits a bit proud from the side of the phone since the IPS backlight adds 1-2mm extra thickness.I couldn't justify spending $70 for an OEM OLED screen that would likely exhibit the same problem as the one that came with my device due to my environment being cold, but $20 is a lot more palatable, and for that I am happy with this product.

Adhesive is weak, digitizer is not sensitive!
Samsung Galaxy S5 G900 LCD Replacement..Digitizer is not sensitive to touch. And it is very difficult to get buttons at the bottom of the screen to respond..Adhesive is very weak and does not hold the glass down after a few hours. This is either due to poor adhesive, or the product has been sitting on the shelf for years and the adhesive is going bad from age. The thin metal-sheet support the glass is attached to appears to be thicker than the origin support. This causes the glass to be a little too high which puts additional stress on the adhesive. It pulls away in time.

Of course it's not OLED, but it is functional and that's the point.
OK so only buy this if you just need your phone to work, and don't care about much else. The LCD isn't nearly as bright as the OLED, and the touch isn't always perfect. But is it usable? Absolutely! Can't really complain for $30.The adhesion on this screen is utter garbage. But there is an easy solution; silicone cement or b7000 adhesive around the edges and on the back will hold it in nicely. Just don't use too much and don't get it in places it shouldn't be (avoid the home button area, connector, and backlight). It won't look perfect, but it'll stay. Remember, the whole point of buying this screen is to make the phone functional, and that's it.If you or your customer is picky, do not buy this screen. I personally would want an OLED replacement on my phone. But for my customer with a tight budget, this is more than suitable.

2 Screens, Neither worked
First replacement screen flashed for about 3 seconds before it stopped altogether. Second screen would turn on and then stop working after pressing anywhere near the top-right corner. Would need to be turned off and on again. Adhesive strips did NOTHING to keep the screen in place. Customer service via email was nice enough I suppose
