The WAH Nails Book of Nail Art Hardcover – July 10, 2012

I bought this book for my 13 year old daughter. She loved it immediately. The book offers some simple and some complex designs, but they're all absolutely cute! There were even a few designs I liked for myself. I wish there were more design in the book though (its a book with stories, pictures, and wild photos to entertain readers), but it was still worth every penny. I'm a fan of WAH nails now.

Nail art has been around for as long as I have been getting my nails done (we're talking 18 years here) and longer. However nail art has evolved from the mostly airbrushed and abstract work that I was getting at 13 years old. I became a nail artist myself in my 20s and I love this book. WAH nails are right up there with my Top 5 mentors in the nail industry.

This book is quite small and filled with beautiful pictures. But if you're not a total beginner you will most likely not learn anything from it, and the inspiration for more advanced design is not present. It's a great stocking filler and I will probably give it to my twin nieses when they're old enough to play with nail polish.

My daughter ordered this book for her friend for Christmas. When it arrived, she immediately went through it and told me she wished she had ordered a few more copies for herself and other friends. It has some great nail art pictures and ideas. A must have for the nail art girl.

I enjoyed this book. I could've done without the personal stories but this book is where art and nails meet so the whole book in it's entirety is cool. I read some of the "bad" reviews and a lot of the dislikes were about how they felt the book didn't show them enough or how this book is cool for teenagers. Here's what I say to them....If you want someone to show you how to apply acrylic tips and use an electric nail file, go to school for it like the rest of the nail techs. Or, you can do like everyone else in the world and watch youtube. Secondly, nail polish is meant for the female newborn infant straight out of the womb to all the way through till she's 100 years old. Creative nail art is not just for teenagers. I would put money on it that every 40 to 50 year old woman who gets their nails done also get that one accent nail applied every once in awhile. This book is about nail polish application and having fun with color, design, and art.

If this book had a preview to it, it would most likely never sell a copy. This was a pop culture collaboration of trash. I felt like I had fallen inside a hipster backpack and could not escape as I turned each page. There were no real instructions to this book, No real projects and the ideas it gives are vague at best. I recommend no one murder any more trees by this book being produced any further.

This book is amazing, I bout a used hard copy but it appears as if it has never been touched! I’m in love!

The tutorials were clear and easy to follow. The book looks great and is something you would keep out for people to flick through.Perfect little work book and coffee table book.

Cute as a present

Un ouvrage à la fois très beau et très bien fait. Même si les explications sont en anglais, les illustrations sont facile à comprendre et a mettre en oeuvre. Les photos mettent parfaitement en valeur les différentes décorations. A ce sujet, il y en a pour tous les goûts : camouflage, léopard, berlingot, rayures ou simples pois ... A mettre dans toutes les mains des accros aux vernis !

I recently bought this product and was umming and arring for a couple of weeks before I finally did but to cut a long story short, I'm glad I did. The cover is really 'cool' and looks great on a bookshelf so that's always a bonus, right? Anyway, I need to stop rambling! This book gives you some information on the owner of WAH nails- info on her life, ideas and friends etc which is a really nice touch to the book. The step by step instructions are very clear, informative and helpful. Sometimes when I start a nail design I don't quite know where to start, the squiggle or the lines or the colour- you get my drift. However, this book shows you were to start and finish to give you the best final look. The pictures included are great and although I would have preferred more nail art designs to be included, this book does cover all of the basics, gave me new ideas for designs and was an enjoyable read and for that I think it's worth the money. Plus, it comes with a free sheet of stickers! You can't go wrong!! hahaThere is only one bad point about this book and that is that I'm now going to be bankrupt as I can't stop buying more nails colours, tools and nail pens to create new designs!! RIP savings.

I bought this book about a year ago, so I've had time to try out many of the designs and just to say I am very please with this book. It's unique, artistic and very easy to understand the tutorials. There are many tips in here which have improved the state of my nails as well making them look amazing, I get many complements on them when I go out. People always ask "where did you get your nails done?" and I love it when I reply to them "I did them myself". I am really pleased with all the designs, they are all very different from leopard prints, to aztec and metal studs to pop art.This book would make an excellent gift to someone especially young girls.
