They work, no leaks!
These worked great! I needed to wear toe to knee 4 layer compression wraps on both legs for about 6 weeks. I could not get them wet. I have wide calves/legs to start with, and the wraps added another inch or so. Most of the knee high cast protectors just wouldn't open wide enough to work. And they were expensive! While I did not need full leg coverage, these at least had a leg opening wide enough for my calves. I pulled them to just above my knee and then kinda folded the excess down, then used some gauze tied around to deal with the excess. Used them every other day for just over 6 weeks and never once had a leak!

THE BEST!
I’ve used my first one numerous times for two years. I just bought a second one just in case. Works perfectly. I’ve been given others at the hospital and they are useless. Wound Care instructed me to buy the first one at their pharmacy. Best purchase for protection in the shower. I’d give it 100 stars!

Good Product
I have used this product three time now in the shower and so far not a single drop has leaked in. I must say that depending on the size of your cast you will likely need some help getting it started. The opening is big enough but it does require a little bit of work to get on, but not too much. Taking it off is much easier and can be done by yourself without any assistance. For reference, I am not a big person 5'8 155lbs and I have a fiberglass cast that goes up to just below my kneeI would recommend this product and I would buy it again.

Didn’t work for me. Too painful to wrestle on after surgery.
The material is so hard to stretch that I was unable to put it on over my cast. It hurt my foot too much trying to wrestle it on and I never got it past my toes. Making the hole big enough to go over the cast just defeats the water-tight seal on a bare leg. Went back to using a plastic bag and rubber band for shower time.

Vacation saver!!!
This was a vacation saver! I booked a family cruise for Christmas before I found out I was having ankle surgery on 12/10.I was so bummed that I would miss out on swimming in the ocean (especially since we rented a private floating cabana one day) and enjoying swimming with my family.I ordered this hoping it would work and it was incredible!!!!Not only did it seal my leg well enough to swim in the ocean but it really was submersible. I was able to keep both legs down in the water without my cast leg trying to float. It felt amazing to be weightless and stretch out both legs. I loved being able to move my legs equally under water too.I hope to use this MANY times over my next few months in a cast!Thank you for saving my Christmas plans and giving me a few hours of normalcy!

A friend recommended the AquaShield Protector after my bunion surgery
A friend recommended the AquaShield Protector after my bunion surgery. The first time I used it, I was concerned that I would tear it putting it over my rough cast, but it worked perfectly. The opening does stretch well to accommodate the toes and heel, but I recommend taking your time. The top fits snugly, which it should to keep out the water. I used it with a hand-held shower head while sitting on the tub stool, and there were no leaks. The only problem I had was with a couple of skinned knuckles I got while carefully putting it on!

Works exactly as it should
I had a full leg cast to mid thigh. The break was fairly prominent and the MDs wanted to protect it, so I had several additional layers of padding and plaster. It stretched nicely over the cast and was reusable. It did exactly what I expected it to do. There was only dampness (from the humidity of the shower) on the inside of the cover after removing. It was snug on my thigh the first time, but after the plastic stretched it wasn't as uncomfortable. The plastic opening was very stretchable but retained that stretchiness. I never felt like it was sliding. I never attempted to submerge so I can't speak to that guarantee. Be aware the cover is long (about 2 feet extra on me) so if you have children that are in between sizes, tripping could be a concern. For reference, I am 5'5", about 170lb, and carry the weight in my thighs and had no issue sliding the cover over my cast and not being overly tight on my thigh.
