Hillsdale Clarion Swivel Counter Height Stool, Distressed Gray

Update: Kitchen renovation is complete and have finally been able to sit on these...the stools are fantastic!!!After assembling the first of 4 stools, the others were a breeze. The most difficult and time consuming part of the assembly, was using the Allen wrench, but I took out my drill, put an Allen wrench bit on it, and this sped things up tremendously but there were a few areas that I was unable to use the drill on, so I had to use the wrench provided Other than that these stools are sturdy, comfortable and look great...I can't wait till our kitchen renovation is complete, so we can try these "BAD BOYS" out.

Can't believe how easy it was to assemble. They look expensive and have some comfort to them. I love the color and measurements were accurate. The part where you rest your feet is easy to scratch though. I recommend no shoes on these chairs. Their solid so far even with my 250 lb ass on them 😄

I bought 3 of them used for $74 each but they all came new in original boxes. They have all some minor defects but that gave them a bit of rustic look which I really like. Overall, high quality chairs, well built, sturdy and cheap. Yes great and cheap, you heard me right.

Although these chairs are beautiful, they are not well built at all, especially for the cost. I purchased these in September (6 of them) and one has completely broken. In addition, we have had to tighten these chairs on a daily basis. Absolutely not worth the price. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Really nice chairs. Good quality. Whiter than expected but not disappointed. I like the rustic look. Cushion very firm which kinda made the chair a tad high. But sitting on it a while compressed the cushion a bit to a more comfortable height. We got 6 chairs and 5 swiveled easily, 1 not as much but when you sit on it, it swiveled fine. Easy assembly. My 11 year old twins assembled 5 of 6 chairs with use of power drill. They just needed help screwing cushions, but otherwise it was a piece of cake.

The look and comfort are nice. In my 1st box of 2, the nuts and bolts were all dumped loose in the box. The design is a but ridicules as I was just one person putting this together and you need to be able to join the cushion in place and you have to drill right in to the bottom of the cushion so of course my first try the screw went right through the material and now it stands out when looking at my new stools, very disappointing. I got assistance with the second one and they agreed it was a very poor design. Not sure if you can even purchase replacement cushions for this piece or if manufacturer would assist. I'm giving a 3 star due to poor packaging and poor design. Again, the look and comfort are nice. It was still a little expensive for the stools.

Love my new chairs!! Goes perfect with our home. Chairs are solid and great quality. Husband is handy and it didn’t take him long to put together. A little time consuming with screwing the bolts because you have to use the little tool. I bought and put on a furniture protection spray for cushions. Two of the chairs I bought from the like new to get a better price and the chairs were perfect. They are comfortable, really supports your back. Love them.
