Bear Safe Protection for Cuddeback 3112 Attack Cuddesafe

Well its a very well built product to protect the camera I would recommend it too anyone and is also a good deterant from thieves, but like anything if you want to steal it bad enough you would do anything to get it!

These are great protection for your camera. The main box stays on the tree and the front cover slips off for easy access to the camera. Very well designed and easy to use. The holes for the lock are big enough to accommodate any size lock and it is protected from the weather by tabs at the bottom of the box. I use them in all kinds of conditions and my locks are never frozen with this safe. They attach with lag bolts to any wooden surface. I like to weld a chain to mine and chain it to a tree. This safe works great for bears and thieves! I have a dozen cameras on public land and I have one for every camera I own!

Anyone that uses scouting cameras in the field should protect them with a "bear" safe box such as this. I've had bears swat at my cameras over the years. Just one unprotected $200 camera that gets mauled and destroyed by a bear and you will regret not having a safe box for protection. And it goes without saying what one of these will do to deter thieves.

Be sure you order the right safe for your camera. These are well made and sturdy. Great for keeping bears from eating your camera!

I ordered this safe for my Cuddeback camera and it was shipped from Redsgear in St Louis Mo and when I recieved it the unit was used and had holes drilled in the lid and had been mounted on a tree as there was tree bark on the back of the camera safe and the bracket inside was scratched up where someone had installed a camera . I was charged $42.00 for a new product , but this was a used product. I feel that it should have been sold at a reduced price instead of as a new un-used product. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Reds Gear dealership. The ears on the case were bent where you could put a pad lock on it to prevent theft.

I already had a bear try to get the camera . He failed ! Works great . I would buy it again.

Not as advertised. I wanted a Cuddesafe that fit the Cuddeback Attack and yes, this one does fit. However, I wanted one like the picture advertised...one with a big wide opening. Mine that showed up today looks like the picture. I have attached. If I would have known this is what I was going to get, I wouldn't have wasted my time and money.
