It's easy to use AND it comes with 100 eyelets. This tool isn't cheap, but you get exactly what you pay for. The quality is excellent, and it should last you for years to come.I've used cheap eyelets before that would split when using a handheld setting tool. The included eyelets in this kit didn't split or crack, and they maintained a uniform crimp while setting.I can recommend this tool to anyone considering setting their own eyelets for whatever reason. It works. Period.

This thing was easy out of the box to use

This product does its job perfectly. It does make life easier. The only downside is in my opinion it is extremely overpriced.

I've read a lot of reviews about this tool splitting rivets, and they made me hesitant to buy, but I did anyway.After some experimenting, here's what I found:If you put a rivet in the press, and just to to smashing it with a hammer - then yes, you'll split the mess out of them. Rather, you need to use gentle taps to SHAPE the metal, THEN you can really pound it home once you've stretched the rivet to the shape it needs to be. Works great, and I can split, or keep whole, rivets whenever I want - it gives that much control.

This is a quality built tool, one that if you are setting small amounts of eyelets in kydex, leather, etc. is a perfect match. The machining on this tool is premium, heavy quality gauge steel. The rivettes with cheaper versions of these punches split the rivets or crushes them. This stays rounded and tight.!

The tool arrived in a timely manner and one of the tools was slightly bent. I contacted customer service and they got back in touch with me and sent a replacement within hours! Love buying things made in the USA when I’m able and I’m very happy to support this company. This works exactly as it should and I’m really pleased with it. Thank you!

This tool, with the eyelets made quick work of getting started with making Kydex sheaths. The anvil and punch can be removed easily for reaching eyelets further from the edge. This was super important for making axe sheaths. I had to learn to peen the eyelets with many gentle hits to prevent splitting. The punch is short and wide enough for easy use with my arbor press. I found it too easy to split the eyelets when using the arbor press, so I went back to using a brass mallet and using smaller hits. I'd buy it again.

Super easy to use, worth every penny.

Flare tool is great. Makes a nice flare. Rivets seem good and don't get too marked up by the tool. Had a couple split but that might be a me problem. Just wish it came with more rivets for the price since the tool should last forever, but the rivets seem hard to find, (at least at a good price with reasonable shipping).

It is hard to tell from the photo, but the tool is very well built. When I received it I was presently surprised by its surface finish and precision. All surfaces are well polished and smooth and this helps shape the eyelet during application. The holder also helps position the anvil and die perfectly each time which is advantageous if you don't have an arbor press.
