I am a simple person. I enjoy my comforts. I have a memory foam mattress and 6 pillows already on my bed (and yes, I use them all, I am very tucked in at night). I have heard about weighted blankets and have decided to try it out. In my head I assumed the heavier the better- and so I bought the 11kg one. I have a single bed and not a double, however the excess bedding is always used. I do not waste comfort. I came home from my Cadet group last night and neatly folded it out on my bed, on me, and as soon as i laid down in my horizontal comfort throne with the additional weighted blanket on top- I immediately felt immersed into a heavenly, reassuringly restrictive feeling. I did not move for several hours. My first thought was that i was a perfect sandwich- the type you flatten down with your palm to fit the bulky goodness of sandwich into your mouth easier. My next thought was that if i did happen to die, I could still boast to the demons in hell that i have experienced heaven without trespassing the gates themselves. This may seem like an exaggeration, however, as stated previously, I am a simple person who enjoys comfort, and this was most definitely achieved in a single night. I was warm and cozy throughout the night, the texture is soft and pleasant.

Well made and comfortable to use; with an evenly distributed weight that allows for both ease of adjustment and a gentle heft.I'm feeling really satisfied with this blanket and can vouch for it improving the quality of rest.

excellent, cant believe how i slept before i had this blanket, it is heavy please do not under estimate how heavy this is, but the quality of my sleep has improved ten folds ! recommended for runners, active people who get has ...achy legs at night.

I have never owned a weighted blanket so decided to get a cheap-ish one to see if I liked it.First off I will address some of the concerns mentioned in other comments: the weight distribution within the quilt pockets is a bit uneven and the filling does feel similar to sand.However; this blanket has been a life changer for me. It is so comforting and has helped my sleep immensely. The cotton material doesn't trigger my sensory issues which is a bonus. So for that reason I am giving it four stars.If you are curious about weighted blankets and want a cheap starter one or simply can't afford an expensive one then I highly recommend this one. It does it's job and is comfortable.(If you are used to high end blankets though then I am not sure how you will find it by comparison.)I have now brought two because I love it so much. One for the bedroom and one for the sitting room.

Had been stacking duvets and quilts to try to get the weighted blanket feel but was a little too warm in the summer. These are often quite expensive but I thought this was a fair price. Feels a bit like it is filled with sand and it does bunch up a bit but it means I can settle with a single duvet and this blanket. Very happy with what I got for the money. I opted for as weighty as I could get though the suggestion id 10% f body weight and I am glad I did because the heavier the better for me.

Unlike myself my husband likes a lot of weight on him when he sleeps. Goes back to his childhood days when you had blankets and were ‘tucked in’ so tight you couldn’t move. He used to use a heavy towelling dressing gown but was so old I threw it out!! He wasn’t very happy. I bought this for him. It’s so heavy I can barely lift it. I found that if you put it on the bed width ways it’s perfect for a double bed and I’ve come to like it too. It’s very well made, good quality but would’ve liked a cover for it.

I don’t usually write reviews but I thought it would be great to write one for people who were skeptical like me, about buying this product. I have severe chronic back pain and I was supposed to have surgery in less than three weeks which has been held off for at least half a year. I bought this a last resort. I usually wake up multiple times in the night due to pain and discomfort but last night (my first night with this blanket) I slept all the way through the night and got a healthy amount of sleep which actually felt fulfilling (usually even if I manage to get a total of 12 hours I still feel exhausted due to my condition. But this sleep left me feeling well rested too). If you’re jesus it’s not to buy it for whatever reason, just know that you won’t find a better one for this price. I got the 11kg double sized blanket. The weight is distributed evenly and it helped me sleep in positions that would usually give me pain and discomfort with minimal. I’m not saying it will make pains and discomfort disappear but it will make a hell of a lot more bearable. Even though I’m now going about my day, the sleep I’ve got has made the pain is usually have in the morning after and during the day, reduced by a ton. Definitely worth the buy, even if you don’t have chronic pain. I suffer with terrible nightmares due to my mums recent passing and other mental disorders I have, but it helped with that too. So all around, amazing product and definitely worth the buy. Thank you for reading
