I recently bought this new ION-Sei toothbrush and I am quite amazed! Most electric toothbrushes remove plaque and bacteria mechanically, whereas ION-Sei ionic technology (titanium rod plus UV light) suppresses the bacteria causing plaque. So completely different cleaning philosophy than all others. Apart from some “superpower” technology, it is also sonic, with up to 31.000 strokes , has three brushing modes, and comes with two brush heads, standard and sensitive – I am loving the sensitive one! It has tapered bristles, that nicely clean between my teeth (it really feels squeaky clean) but is really gentle, no more bleeding gums for me. It says you do not even need to use the toothpaste, but I don’t think I will give up mine, I would miss the nice minty taste. Last but not least its really nice looking, light and much quieter than my other brushes from leading brands!

Initially I loved the toothbrush. It worked well, it was comfortable and it looked great too. However after 8 months of use, I noticed that I needed to charge it more frequently until it finally just stopped working altogether. The window to return the product was only 2 months so it looks like I'm out of luck. Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying this product nor would I buy it again. Really disappointed.

Fantastic toothbrush. Far superior to any other toothbrush I have used. I have had a number of high end Oral B and Philips brushes and I don't fully understand the technology involved - the fact you don't actually need toothpaste is pretty impressive.This gives you a next level, dentist clean finish and I can't recommend enough!

I've had a number of issues and have now thrown it out! Firstly, the toothbrushes can break as the plastic tab that holds them on has not been well designed. Secondly, the ultra violet stem is hard to clean as are the insides of the toothbrushes, and lastly, the battery life is terrible! I'm now having to charge mine every 3/4 days. So back to Philips for me!

Really pleased with this purchase. The bristles on the brush are soft. Cleaning action of the brush is great. Cleans the back teeth very well. It’s very quiet to use. Charges super quick. Long battery life. Looks great. Love the pastel colour. Arrived super quick. Will definitely be purchasing more for the rest of the family.

Problems with charger battery

This toothbrush seems to work well, and the teeth do seem cleaner.As a dentist, I cant fault it.It is missing a pressure sensor, and the price of replacement heads are pricey compared to other brands.I am not sure if the technology actually stops plaque sticking to the teeth or if it is just the normal brushing technique that is cleaning the teeth.They claim you don't even need to use toothpaste, if you don't want to, although I am unsure about this.
