Lifeproof FRE SERIES iPhone 6/6s Waterproof Case (4.7" Version) - Retail Packaging - POWER XTRA PINK (LIGHT ROSE/XTRA PINK)

I do like this case. It feels stronger then my last fre life-proof. Except it doesn't show you Apple window logo on the back. I was thinking it was more pink floral but it’s more tree / leave / outdoor type science on back. Not a fan or either but wanted pink so I can’t complain. it covers entire back side so Apple logo is hidden. All ports on/ off, headphone jack are air tight. I have been told recently that it’s sounds like I’m miles away or mumbling if the charging port isn’t opened when talking on the phone. I forgot to open it on 99% of the calls I make and they say they hear just fine... Idk. To avoid all that I just use my head phones for everything from using the phone , music , etc . This is my second one over twos half years a def. worth it, and held up to much much abuse with out a scratch.

Love this case! Just wanted to mention a few things that might be helpful. The bottom charger tab is not as hardy as previous versions of lifeproof cases I have had, it closes tight when I'm not charging and does the job keeping liquid out; however, it is pretty light and seems like it could break quite easily so I have been being careful when I open it just in case. Next, this case is VERY hard to take apart so make sure (after you have water tested it of course) that when you are about to put your phone in, just do the top, have your phone on with the full screen lit up with a white background, and make sure there are no dust particles or other things that will annoy you out of it. I didn't the first time and taking it apart was crazy difficult. Other than those two things, I love this case. It feels nice, I love the design, it's lightweight and sounds really good too.UPDATE: the charging cover broke off within a few months... The rest has been great, but it is no longer full proof so looking at a different lifeproof case this time.

The case itself stands up really well when I drop my phone, but I feel like the same case I had for my iPhone SE was better quality than this one (exact same brand and pink camo design).This case gets scuff marks in it pretty easily and the pink camo design is very cheaply made onto it. It flakes off wherever it’s been scuffed after being dropped, or gets scratches in it way too easily. Other than the cosmetic end of things, the case DOES do its job and saves my phone from smashing to bits. I would not repurchase.

This case replaces the one that I bought over two years ago, which wore out from constant use. My old case could not accept any lightning cable except the original Apple one, but this new case has been redesigned with a larger power/adapter cable opening. I have two faults with the new case. One is that the cover for the power cord is hard to open, ripping my fingernails and making me fear breaking the door itself. The second is that it was very hard to open the case after I performed the leak test, leading to some unnecessary wear and tear on both myself and the case.

This case gives me some peace of mind knowing that it's protecting my phone from water. I boat alot in the summer and haven't had a chance to use it on the boat yet but I've been out in the rain and snow with it and it's the only time I've ever even considered taking photos in bad weather. There are very clear instructions on how to test for watertightness before actually putting the phone in it. The only thing I don't like about it is how hard it is to open the little "door" that covers the place where you plug in the charger cord. It's really tight but has to be due to having to create a watertight fit. Overall I really like this cover.
