the width says 54" but the box looks a lot shorter than that. Is the table cloth folded in half on the roll?

Yes it's folded in half on the roll

What is the actual thickness of the plastic? In mm preferably

not sure on thickness in MM but used for an outdoor festival as a barrier for food and beverage to protect white plastic tables and they worked out well for the price. remember one still has to secure to tables if wind is a factor Craig

What is the measurement of the thickness of the product?

I returned the product. Thin and cheap!!! The roll is 27 inches wide. Guessing you have to unfold it. Don’t waste your money

Is the black plastic roll totally opaque? I'm trying to seal a window to create a photographic dark room. Will one layer of this plastic do the trick?

Yes, one layer did the trick when I tried. I guess you'd have to test it out to see if it gives you the darkness level that you're looking for specifically. In my experience, the seller cares about satisfaction guaranteed, so worst-case scenario, if you're not happy with the product, you can always return it. However, I do think it's worth a try.
