Does the job well on my Jeep
For the past couple of years I've used a suction mount for my dash cam. It stuck to the windshield and every so often I had to re-stick it. This usually involved a little spittle (ugh). Well, of late the suction cup just started failing more and more often, until it no longer would stay for more than a few seconds. I ordered this kit and received it the next day. There are about, I don't know, 5000 different pieces to it, for every shape and size of dash cam. So I'd be surprised if your dash cam doesn't fit this kit.Installation on the dash cam, itself, was pretty easy. Fun even, putting the pieces together. However, getting this on my vehicle was tough, and here's why. To attach this you're going to use screws and wingnuts to tighten the clamp around the neck of the rearview mirror. Pretty straightforward. But in practice, it's difficult to line up the holes and get the nut started when you can't see anything due to the mirror being in the way. Plus, it's very tight work doing anything in the space between the mirror and windshield. Not a lot of room for hands. But look, this is not impossible. Just keep at it and you'll be glad you did. The mount is stable and secure and can be adjusted at any time for angle. Thumbs up!

Perfect!
Listen, this device was not meant for my dash cam but did some adjustment to it. Nothing one ingenuity and crazy glue can’t fix 😆 the price is right, sturdy and many adjustable joints to choose from.

Priced well, works well.
I didn't want to deal with suctions not suctioning consistently especially with how hot it gets here so a mirror mount was the answer. It was super easy to install in my Dodge Nitro and didn't move or vibrate one bit. I moved it over to my Nissan Murano and it mounts in there with no issue. The only issue I see in my Nissan is it vibrates a little (can see it in the footage) for some reason and it's almost like it's never tight enough. Why? No idea but it hasn't fallen off so it's fine.

Dash Cam is no longer a Humpty Dumpty!
Works well and easy to assemble. You just have to figure out which connector best fits your dash cam. Luckily, mine had 3 potential matches but 2 of them was still a bit loose. I can't wait to get into my car every day and no longer see the dash cam fall down!

Somewhat fits the z edge wifi dashcam
I like the idea that it isn’t a suction cup. i don’t like how it hangs the dashcam a bit lower than what I wanted.. but I’ll have to get use to it. Out of all the pieces provided, 1 piece somewhat fits the z Edge wifi dashcam. It fits as in, it is small enough to slide into the slot of the dashcam to hold the dashcam. BUT! because it doesn’t exactly fit the slot snuggly, the camera is CONSTANTLY shaking so you won’t be able to see your video clearly AT ALL. I’m not joking when I say that the video is extremely shaky. Go and look at other peoples video on here with the same exact issue and you’ll see what I mean. hmm I’ll have to try to make it work somehow? Maybe tape it down?? Ugh what a hassle it will be to have to rip the tape off and on just to keep the dashcam from constantly shaking. Is there a piece out there that can fit perfectly?! if anyone out there knows one that actually fit the z edge perfectly please let me know!UPDATE: so I thought the problem was only because the piece is too small to fit snuggly. After taping the dashcam tightly to the piece that holds the dashcam, I realized that was not the only reason why the videos are EXTREMELY shaky! It is ALSO because of the entire thing..it’s not sturdy enough to just hold the camera in place or something!! As much as I’ve tightened it, it keeps shaking!!!! ugh this thing sucks!!! I’ll figure out another way and if it doesn’t work then I’m returning. So so so frustrating.
