The E-Z curl bar is exactly what I wanted. The price is great. No problems there.The only con is that the packaging needs improving. It was shipped in a nice heavy tube but there was a very flimsy capping on both ends. During shipping, the bar must have broken through both ends. That really was not a too much of a problem for me but I'm sure the delivery driver was not too happy about it.My bar was delivered into the lobby of my building. If it were delivered to a house, I think the porch privates would have a field day with it.Update: i just noticed that one of the collars became missing in transit. Did I mention the flimsy end caps on the tube it was delivered in? Yeah, that happened.

After reading reviews about his bar I was concerned about two things: 1) that the bar might not have enough bend in it to be used comfortably, because many complained about it being "too straight" and 2) that it was too flexible, because that was a complaint of some.As far as the bend, it's not the most dramatic I've used, but it's certainly right in line with the amount of bend you're going to find at many gyms. The amount of bend is actually much greater than than pictures on Amazon show, so I've attached a pic of the bar to give better perspective on that. I had surgery on one of my hands as a result of an injury while playing college sports, which is why I choose an EZ Curl over a straight bar as it allows for greater comfort while lifting, and I had no issues using this bar.As far as the flex, the bar's listed capacity is 200lbs. In the attached photo you can see I have it loaded with 200lbs of plates, and I can pick it up with very little flex in the bar. I am not sure what people complaining about excessive flex were talking about. I doubt most people will load this bar to capacity anyway, but rest assured that even if you are planning to do so it's plenty sturdy.Also, just my opinion but I think there is good knurling on this bar. Not too severe, not to smooth, just right. Feels good in your hands.All in all I think this is a great bar for anybody who has a gym at home and wants a threaded EZ curl bar that will get the job done.

I love this Bar. Its hand placement is very comfortable. Very sturdy and strong. Definitely worth the money.

This is a fairly standard E-Z Curl bar. It is not as bent or angled as some of them are, but it is not completely straight like a bar with which you would do barbell squats. The bar itself is about 11 pounds and you can use any barbell plates that have a 1" hole. The ends where the plates are loaded are threaded so you can either use a spring collar or a collar that can go on a threaded end. It is great for doing moves like skull crushers, upright rows, bent-over rows, and the like. It is definitely a good deal and perfect for a home gym setup.

I got mine used but in like new condition. Nearly half the price! Even if it was full price It would be worth the money.The quality and feel of the product is excellent and this is so much easier on my wrists than a straight bar. The grip feels great and I can get more reps out of this and it feels like my biceps are getting more activation.The only thing that may bother people about it is the rubber gaskets that are attached dont stick too well to the bar or the nuts. Doesnt bother me though. You dont really need tjem anyways.

I love the smooth design on it and it’s very sturdy and very easy on the wrists.
