Refrigerator Water Filter Compatible with LG LT700P (Pack of 1)

Great price, I can't tell any difference in quality from the much more expensive brand-named filter. I get this every time.

This is not the cheapest filter of this type I found on Amazon. I elected to go with this brand based on the reviews. I installed it on my LG frigwithout any problems after I checked the owners manual instructions. Be sure when doing this that you lower the filter to the lowest position. Inmy frig it actually hits the top shelf. It then essentially will almost fall out. Do not try to pull it out staight as I initially tried. It will not come out iin this position. Luckily, I did not force it and damage anything. Read the book first!!!The vendor contacted me via e-mail and asked if I had any problems etc. Looks like they are interested in good customer service.Early times yet on the filter, but it installed perfectly, did not leak and the water cleared up completely after running about 3 gal through.So far, the five stars are well earned.

This works perfectly as a water filter for our Kenmore Elite refrigerator, at a fraction of the price of the brand-name version sold by Sears. I can't tell the difference. This was a repeat purchase, and we will continue to buy this from this seller.I am adding to this review, as I have another year of experience with this product since writing the paragraph above -- it's been a few years now that we've been using it. It's great! I've never had any problems. Does the job perfectly. Very durable housing that has never leaked or created any problem whatsoever. Water tastes great. We will continue to buy from this seller.

The filter arrived promptly. It came with handy labels that the purchaser can adhere to the filter to indicate the month of installation. (As a general rule, the recommendation is to replace the water filter every six months. Of course, this time frame could vary depending on the amount of water that is filtered and the quality of the water being filtered.) The filter snaps in easily. After flushing the first 3 to 4 gallons of water, as recommended on the filter packaging, the water is ready to drink. I would recommend this product for use in a compatible refrigerator.

The product works well when you get a good filter. However getting a good filter seems to be hit or miss. The last couple of times we have ordered this particular filter we get a metallic taste coming through. This is not the sellers fault, it just seems that that getting a good filter will depend on who is doing quality control the day filter is made. At this point I have to go back to ordering the actual filter from Kenmore.

Works just as well as the kenmore filter at a fraction of the cost! Our fridge water was starting to run slowly so we were guessing the previous filter was getting clogged. Plugged this new one in (fits exactly the same as the other brand name filter). Now the water flows much more quickly and looks really clean! I did follow the advice to run a bit of water through the filter after changing it. I did a few gallons. The water was kind of gray/black at the beginning due to the Carbon in the filter (but that was expected). I would HIGHLY suggest this filter! Save yourself some money on expense filters and get this one!!

Thank goodness the distributor contacted me about this product. I love the product but the instructions say to pull old one straight out. The good news is the distributor knows to push down and told me so in their email instructions. I suggested they either get box instruction reprinted or at least include amended instructions with package. It is easy to install once you know how to take out old one!

These filters are not blocking nearly enough calcium, fluoride, magnesium... from my water and it's leaving a film in my pans. I will never buy these filters again.
