Dont buy its slow and it needs 3 years worth of updates but the load of the updates is to much for the computer its been a month and a half and it still isnt working properly and my uncle is an it tech and he said that even with the updates this computer will only be supported for maybe another year

i5 processor is the way to go. So much faster than i3. HDMI make it the perfect PC. Streams any HD video with ease. Compatible with any media or printer. Fast affordable shipping makes it the perfect deal.

so far good choice

Over all I'm happy with the computer and the fact it was referred is no big deal. There real sticking point is it NOT having bluetooth or wifi. Sure, there is a slot there for it. Yes, I've added a wifi/bluetooth card. Then, I found out I had to add an antenna which too a while. Now, both bluetooth and wifi "work" but their signal is not all that great. I'm sure it something I did but there are bitterly no instructions for this computer ANYWHERE on what kind and how to add wifi to it.

I bought this pc (not from Amazon) for the exclusive use as a media server pc running Plex media server. The key factor was the J2900 which draws very little power (30 Watts) for a device that is on 24x7. I have been really happy with the performance so far. I did do the free upgrade to Windows 10 when it became available. This pc serves multiple media streams to users in the household with ease (at least 2 HD feeds simultaneously). In addition, I also have a Minecraft server running on it for the kids and their friends and it handles that with ease at the same time.The only problem I have had with this pc is if you connect an external USB drive to it, the pc comes to a crawl. I understand this is a known problem and I haven't been able to find a fix for it. That is a bummer since I wanted to use an external data storage drive for the media. Hopefully, Acer will provide a fix soon. Now that I think of it, I haven't tried that since I upgraded to Win 10 so I will give that a shot and update this review if the speed improves.
