A very nice bit of kit for the money
I wanted a bluetooth speaker to stream music, and my old CD player boombox finally died, so read a bunch of reviews and found the Majority range. The Willingham and Oakington seemed very similar from the description so I contacted Majority for clarification, and they replied to confirm the full specs, and it seems the differences are indeed largely cosmetic.I plumped for the Willingham, largely due to the larger display screen that the Oakington lacks, and am absolutely blown away. I'd forgotten the difference it makes listening to music through a decent system! For the compact size, light weight and low price, I am amazed at how good this sounds. As well as being nice looking, it's solidly built (as I'd expect with the three year warranty) and it's probably this solidity that goes a long way to the sound quality.Nice, simple set up and controls - you plug it in and it autoconfigures the DAB radio stations. Inserting a CD autplays, and you can switch easily between modes via the on-unit controls or the remote. I've mostly been streaming from my phone and it connects easily and keeps the signal strongly over a good distance. The only improvements that could be made would be a memory (restarting a CD or playlist on the USB memory when turned off and back on) and, my personal bugbear, an analogue volume control. There is no reason to have the volume increase in increments rather than smoothly and, sometimes, this does make it tricky to get the volume just-so.However, I've very glad I got this and am considering a second set for my bedroom.

Excellent quality and value
This is an exceptional radio/cd player - great sound, very easy to use and program stations, easy to use cd player, and also bluetooth and other functions. It is also a very good-looking radio, sturdy, well-made and finished and looks classy and expensive.Apart from the sound quality and range of functions, I was particularly impressed with how easy everything was to set up and program, when I normally have to ask someone else to do this for me.I have another, older Majority radio/cd that has been giving great service for a while, but this one is even better. Would recommend this to anyone, and plan to buy at least one more as a gift.

Good value, good quality, good sound
I wanted something for the kitchen that would play DAB, CD's and Bluetooth connect to smart phones/tablets. I was sold on a much more expensive brand after using one in a hotel I stayed in, but I read through reviews on lots of these types of DAB radio/CD/Bluetooth players, and as I was only looking for something to go in the kitchen and was struggling to justify £££££.So after reading the reviews on this, not all good might I add, I took the plunge on the basis that if it was poor quality, sound, build etc. I could return.I've had it 3 weeks, it's a great bit of kit, looks super sleek, sounds great, set up is really simple, Bluetooth connects easily, the DAB signal doesn't waver even with the antenna not extended and stowed away at the back, look, feels and sounds much more expensive than it was.Bad points are, EQ's all a bit heavy on bass and bottom end, but you can customise your own EQ so no probs. Remote is a little clunky, left and right arrows actually scroll up and down, bit odd, but not a show stopper, it is quite a deep unit so might be a bit big for some situations, checks dimensions though. All in all a very good buy I would recommend to anyone

Excellent value and quality
I have been looking for a new radio/CD for the bedroom and it needed DAB to get Virgin in the morning. Nearly purchased a Majority Oakington but decided on the Willingham as it seems to have the same features but with a colour screen.Very impressed all round so far. Ordered on Amazon with free delivery so was expecting a four day wait but it arrived two days after order. Well packed and appears high quality. Fairly easy to set up but a little fiddly with the radio pre-sets and as mentioned elsewhere the remote buttons are small. We live in an area with good DAB reception so the unit picked up around 90 stations straight away. It does help if the aerial is fully extended. The sound is very good and the equaliser can be adjusted to suit all tastes (so do not worry about other comments saying it is too bassy). The CD player also works fine. Have not tried the bluetooth or auxiliary port yet.Overall very impressed and highly recommended.

Quality do it all music gadget for everyone.
I did up my loft. I wanted an all in one music gadget. I wanted decent sound quality. And I wanted it CHEAP.Tick. Tick. Tick.Is it as good as a proper Bose speaker? Possibly not. But its about as good as a mini Bose (I own one and can compare directly). And at this price its a steal. The unit is sturdy, it plays CDs, sets up for DAB really easily, and connects via Bluetooth, and I think it looks cool. Probably the best looking in the majority range, especially if you want some retro futuristic faux aluminium style.Small enough to perch on an Argos Cube unit ;0) but deeper than standard Bluetooth speakers so mind and measure first.Highly recommended for any man cave or smallish room.

Great for the price!
I was looking for a cd player with good sound, and I decided on this one based on prior reviews. I just received it today and got it all set up. The sound is good, regardless of volume. The only con I've had so far is that the EQ settings aren't great (the pre-set ones), so I set it myself. The bass seems to ride between too strong and not enough in the settings, in my opinion, but I can live with that. I think it the music definitely sounds better if you aren't sitting right next to the player, so I don't know that I'd have it right next to where I'm working. The only other issue I've had so far is that regardless of what cd I insert, it does not show the cd name or any track listing, just track numbers. Again, I've just now set this up so I'm still learning how to get around it and may very well find another setting I've missed that will alleviate this issue. But first impressions? A good buy for the money, especially with the free 3-year warranty and having a remote control.
